A short time ago my mom met a man who has been struggling in his relationship with God and with his whole life. My family and I all gave him some money and prayed with him, and we have been praying for him since. However, just about 15-20 minutes ago he came by our house to tell my dad that he believes the whole world is against him and he wants to kill himself. Then he drove off. My dad is calling the police, but what he needs most is prayer. Please, everyone, I need you all to pray for him that God saves him before it's too late. :-(

I am definitely praying for this man to know the right way to God.
Take care.

calling the police isn't a good idea... a lot of people are afraid to commit suicide themselves, so they commit suicide by cop.
What your dad needs to do is call the man back and tell him that he loves him... that he cares whether he lives or not...
of course I will pray.

My mom handled that. she called and has been talking to him, he trusts my mom more than my dad. And he is sort of mentally insane so it was a good idea to call the police because hopefully they will put him in a mental hospital. He swallow 30 Tylenol in hopes of killing himself but now he's been vometing all day and is hungry, he's homeless but my family and I didn't know that before. He's been living in his car for a year literally. He doesn't want anything to do with God. Like Jeikobu said, he thinks the whole world is against him, we've been trying to help but he doesn't want us to help. He loves himself but he wants to commit suicide, he's talked to my mom on his cell about driving into a wall to kill himself or if he had a gun he would shoot himself. He can only receive calls and not make them and in a few days the phone company will shut down his cell phone completely making him paralysed to any calls. Please pray, everybody this is urgent. he told my mom where he is when she talked to him tonight and so the police are looking for him. I'm even now praying as I'm writing this message.
Please, everyone, pray for him to see God's light again. he is so messed up right now, and he thinks his girlfriend (who really is not his girlfriend) is against him, he wants to hurt her but he can't so instead he's trying to hurt himself. He was taken out of her apartment by police because he does not have a seal contract for it. He was homeless before and went to her for help, apparently she only intended to take him in for a couple of days but he ended up staying up until now. he's lied about a ton of things that my mom didn't know about until the girl that had been living with him called her and straightened everything out. Everyone's been praying, my dad was looking for him but couldn't find him, the police are currently trying to locate him. Everything is insane. All he needs now are a lot of prayers from Christians. Because this is the truth, God told me and my family clearly that Satan is trying to take his life. That he is using this guy through him and he's trying to yank him down into the Lake of Fire with him. This guy had a hurtful past, his parents didn't love him or anything, he's been hurting ever since and everyone's stomped on his heart and broken him and now he just wants to be gone, to disappear and he doesn't want God to be with him anymore.
I've been praying all night and am not going to give up but my heart and soul are aching in pain of what he might do.

I thoroughly disagree, if for no other reason than that most police agencies are astute enough to call for mental health instead of the SWAT team. I think Jeikobu's dad did the "most right" thing under the circumstances.
A more typical suicide by cop situation usually involves the suicidal person themselves calling the police, and their motives being disguised -- some sort of threatened action or violent occurrence *unrelated* to suicide -- precisely because local law enforcement agencies are now thoroughly aware of the possibility of their being duped into being the instrument. If the police receive a call about an overtly suicidal individual, they'll be coming in with the mental health unit or negotiators, not necessarily with a .38. (I've been involved on the treatment side of such calls at the local institution for the criminally insane, when I did a rotation there as a medical student.)
Regardless, Jeikobu, please keep us posted.

I'm Jeikobu's sister. He's away from the computer at the moment, but to keep you updated: Not three minutes ago my mom was on the phone with the guy and wrote down on a pad for me to call my dad right now because the guys at a King Soopers. And as I called my dad had already found him and told me he had to go because he had to call the police to inform them of his location.
Please pray he doesn't run away and that God will mend his broken heart.

Update:
When my mom was on the phone with him, the police pulled up and told him to put down his phone and get out of his car. He begged my mom not to hang up because he was so frightened. The police have taken him now, they won't throw him in jail but will check him into the mental hospital for tests. Unfortunately, the police told him that my dad was the one that called the police. I was scared and sick to death that maybe he wouldn't trust us and want to commit suicide again because he was adopted by us. Now he doesn't want to kill himself and is just scared and back to his normal self. My parents went out to get his car, thank God he is still trusting us enough to take in his last connection of his life. That's the only that he feels makes him have some money because other than that he would be completely poor. I feel so bad for him though, all his life he has been wanting a home and a family and my brothers and I all want to make him part of our family as well. He is spiritually but we want him to feel like he has a home to turn too when his walk is crumbling beneath his feet. Please keep your prayers rolling, even though he isn't going to commit suicide he is very sad and needs a home. And please pray that the devil does not torment his soul anymore, because that's what he's been doing lately.

I'll be praying. Thanks for all the updates, too, and please keep them coming so that we can pray for this man according to his needs as the situation progresses. I'll be praying for your family, as well.

Eriana - I think you're right; it sounds like this man is being attacked demonically. I'm not saying he's demon possessed, but it sounds like he's under severe oppression. We definitely need to be lifting him up. Remember, God has given us a tremendous responsibility to do spiritual warfare, and an awesome authority to carry it out.
And to echo rogie_san, thanks for the updates.

I'll pray for him-- I know how hard it is when someone rejects your love when they need it the most. I'll pray that if he doesn't know Christ that he will come to a relationship with him and that he'll find hope!

It's very sad to say this but when you look into his eyes you see demons. His soul needs the cleaning of God and for Him to come into his life, and fast before its too late. Thanks for everyone's concern and prayers, please continue to keep him in your spiritual references. He needs prayers and love right now. But most of all he needs Jesus. Thanks everyone, my family and I really appreciate it.

It's up for him to see this though. God does not force Himself upon someone and
makes them except Him, but rather He sends messages all around you and tries to show you that He loves and cares for you enough, that He will not leave you alone but also that He wants you to choose to follow Him, the most important decision anyone can ever make in their lives. I just pray that he will catch these signals from God and open his eyes to His Light. He needs Yeshua so badly right now but because he is so hard-headed he refuses to see that. Thanks everyone and please continue to pray for him.

I too will be praying. I think many people could relate to the feelings of loneliness.
Many times people who talk about suicide just need someone to show or prove they care for them. Perhaps the fact that someone took action to ensure his safety will show him people do care for this gentleman.
I'm glad that nothing too extreme happened. I'll be praying.
