horrible memories...

argh...
I was browsing another forum earlier today and was checking out random videos. Usually they're all funny or full of action, but all good clean fun.
Well, one video I saw today involved a man (
http://www.odmp.org/officer.php?oid=15034 ) being executed in very cruel way by a crazed Vietnam vet. Of course, the video didn't show the officer, but his microphone picked up his dying screams...
I really really wanna get this out of my head. It's so horrible, but...
Argh... >.< Aren't videos of people dying banned from the internet?

I have no idea if they are. Either way, I'll be praying that the scene fades from your memory.

Oh my dear Lord...I will pray for you frwl.
I seriously don't know why websites do this sort of thing and make a perversion over someone's death all over the internet.
I know one website that has suicide videos...it's so putred and so sick that I had to pray for so long for those images to burn out of my mind.

That is disturbing that such videos are available to everyday access, let alone that they exist at all. (btw, I didn't click on the link... if it is the actual video, perhaps you could remove it so that noone accidentally clicks on it and sees/hears the video for themselves).
It may take some time for the thoughts to leave completely, but I think it might help to "... take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ." [2 Corinthians 10:5]. Everytime you remember the video, proclaim Jesus' lordship over your mind. It helps me to think / say the words "I bring this thought captive before Jesus in His name!". It doesn't make the thought go away immediately, but it does help. Also, it might help putting on a worship CD or reading the Bible.
I'll be praying for you

Ugh, how awful. It's just as bad as stumbling upon super obscene pictures. *hugs*
We will pray for God's peace to be upon you. Philippians 4:6 always works for me. We cannot explain the horrors of the world but God knows it all and He reigns.
On a sidenote, it helps to saturate your mind with something more pleasant and comforting. It worked for me when I was battling sinful thoughts.

I've experienced stuff like that before. A lady at church once sent me an e-mail that I thought was just a cute story with a picture, but the picture suddenly changed to a scary face and started screaming violently. I about had a heart attack from it, since I wasn't expecting a lady at church to scare the living daylights out of me over the Internet. I can joke about it now, but it stills bothers me to this day, and I can't stand to hear screaming.
Anyway, my point is that I understand and I'll pray that God will give you peace of mind.
And on a side note to everyone: remember that it's now the season (a.k.a. devil day/halloween) for people to send you scary/bothersome stuff over the Internet, so click with caution.

I've had experiences like that where I was absolutely trometized for a while. I'll pray. Just think of God and His arms wide open to you, that always rests my heart. I'm sure that was disgusting, please don't worry about it though and think of pleasant thoughts. The more you dwell on your fear the more the devil will take advantage of that. Just pray and put it entirely behind you. Read the Bible a lot and to the absolute very extreme fast. Either way this will wash away eventually.
