prayer for my youth group

Oy.... here's the brief history:

We used to have a youth pastor and there's be soooo mant people comign out to youth. But of course it was hard to balance out with the peopel that loved sports and games, with those who JUST wanted worship. Eventually, church couldn't pay for him and he had to move away :/

Youth leaders eventually took over, and are still there now. Of course even people now complained about them with too much worship etc, too few games (you just can't win!) But that's not really the issue...

They've been trying SO very hard to manage a youth without an actual pastor, but with things going on right now, things aren't looking too good. There's been some pretty good turn outs, but lately some of the youth have either: moved away, gone off to Bible college, too old to come anymore (young adults now) or just... don't show up anymore :/ Ona good night would be around 20 or some odd people, whereas this friday was 5 youth and 4 youth leaders! As for me, I'm kinda a "youth leader in-training" since I'm 18 and not really a youth anymore. Numbers are declining... but there's MORE...

We've done some things and have had some REALLY close spiritual times. Those were great. We really bonded as bros and sises to overcome things. But now, with everyone gone, some of the remaining... doesn't seem like they're really "Christian" anymore... yeah everyone can have their down times, but with less and less people coming it seems like it's getting worse! Sad though, going from new Christians exciting to learn, to right back where they started :/

Yeah, there's tons of youth groups in town but this one really feels like family. We've just had our closest times and everything... so I ask for prayer for both the youth itself, that hopefully it'll pick up, get more organized, and attract more and new people, as well as prayer for the old members who either stopped coming, barely come, or are just in a place right now that's sad v_v

EDIT: one more thing... prayer for my church as well! With so many inner conflicts and people switchign from this church to another for whatever reason, it's much smaller than I remember, and always havign problems getting money to run the church (couldn't afford a youth pastor anymore) yeah...

been there. . . I'll deffinately pray with you ^_^ I promise you, things will even out eventually. Keep praying, God will keep the right people in your church and add more people, and bring back the people that need to be there that have been just not really coming or have been going the wrong way in life, which He's been doing with my church recently. just keep on keepin' on!

Whatever it is, may God's Will be done. I will pray for a solution and for God's peace to be upon everyone in times of conflict.
