Car accident

Postby Ingemar » Sat Sep 24, 2005 10:44 pm

I was driving today, when I saw a car come out of nowhere and we collided. I'm mostly fine--just my foot hurts where I slammed the brakes. I'm only worried about the children in the other car because, although they didn't look hurt (they walked out), they were positively traumatized and were nevertheless driven in an ambulance.

I loathe my life; I would not live forever. Let me alone, for my days are but a breath.

Good to hear that noone was seriously hurt. How bad is the damange? Will you have to pay, or are you covered?

Anyway, I'll pray for the children. I'm sure they'll live to tell the tale to all their school friends XD

Whether or not I am covered is pending the police report, and then whatever the insurance companies decide.

I'm sure the kids will survive it. The driver looked the most banged up, as all the bystanders advised him to stay put until the amublance came. Neither car is drivable.

!!!! I'm so glad that you're okay, mostly! And the children, too. I'll keep them in mind...wrecks can be rather traumatizing...speaking of, are you still shaken up?

Cars can be such scary things...so glad you're okay!!!

There seems to a lot of those now. In 18 months two students lives were taken by car wrecks in my town.

Of course i'll pray.

Why must we be abandoned in times of need?
Do others not see when we yearn for their touch;
An insatiable hunger only they can feed.
Left alone with out their words – fallen into darkness.
Stumbling blindly without their light,
We fall and scream, knowing we've faced too much,
Knowing the only answer is flight.
Flight from the lives we once faced
And the joys and terrors others have brought.
Our time with them, a time of joy and life,
Wonder we all, was it for naught?
