Yeah well today my uncle came over and he brought up school and so later my grandma and dad started getting onto my case about what i was gonna do as a living so yeah my grandma seems to think since i want to go on a mission trip that i want to be in the ministry and i keep on telling her i want to be an artist.
Well after i told them both this (several times) i got griped out more and i quote "you need to do something that you can make alot of money at like in the medical feild" "we beleive you can do it (be an artist) but we dont want you to go hungry and live under a bridge" well i know im called to be and artist but they dont seem to grasp that i told my dad that it was and he was like 'how do you know" i was like because God has told me and given me comformations he didnt beleive me.
Also my grandma doesnt think that i am going to be able to go on a mission trip or anything.
Please tell me what i should do and pray for me.

That must be hard. I'll be keeping you in my prayers.
Btw, why are they talking about your future job stuff now? You haven't even finished highschool yet!
Edit: If you are absolutely sure that you are called to be an artist (as you seem to be), then stay strong. But also (here is the tough part) remain humble and honour your parents + grandparents.
Dear Lord, we lift up Lea-Chan to you precious Jesus;
Lord, you know the situation she is in and the conflict that is happening within her family. Lord, firstly we dedicate Lea's future job to You. You know exactly the plans You have for this beautiful young woman, and Lord please keep her strong and in You so that she can walk this path You have set for her.
Also Lord, please soften the hearts of her relatives that they will be able to accept and rejoice in Your destiny for her. Please bring peace to their lives, as You are the Prince of Peace.
Father God, we also ask that Lea will remain humble, and never flaunt or abuse this gift that You have given her. It is written that You dwell with the humble and contrite in heart, and Lord please let this be true for Lea's life. Help her to always honour her parents so that she may be blessed.
Thankyou, Lord Jesus, for setting apart Lea for Yourself.
Praise be to You, Holy God!
In Your precious name,
Amen

Of cource I'll pray for you (or anyone who asks). Also to be a doctor you need certain subjects and if you didn't take at least one of them you have a temporery excuse. Also, if you sell art on the internet and get comisioned your parents might change their minds. Do you have any art online i can look at?

Although you indeed have a right to express your opinions and be able to pursue what you feel is right for you and what you feel that God is leading you to do, remember that when your father and grandmother tell you these things, they are being concerned. It sounds like they love you a lot and are concerned with your happiness and security in life. Stay firm in what you feel is right, but also try to listen to what they're saying and even more pay attention to
why they're saying it. If you can see it from their side, then maybe you can help them also see your side so that you can all work together toward a decision.
I'll pray for you and your family regarding this. And since you're still in high school (and have a ways to go before graduation, since your age says 15 under your avatar), don't rush into a career decision yet. Consider your options for now and enjoy being a teenager.
Do I not sound like an old fogey now or what?!?
I'll pray.

If they say the bit about living under a bridge again, tell them you think the troll who lives under the bridge is kind of cute, and you don't mind eating goat once in a while, as long as it's not too fatty.
(allusion to The Three Billy Goats Gruff)
