hey, this friend of mine adopted this little girl and they named her Amara...anyway, her real father has found her and wants to take her back...my friend has had her for six months now and i know it would break her if she had to give Amara back...we've been praying nonstop but she's loosing the case in court...pray that the right decision will be made, even if it isn't what we want...T_T
also, a friend of mine recently called and told me that he's gone through some tough stuff at school...he is paralyzed from the waist donw and is in a wheelchair...not that that makes him any less of a person...he does all kinds of stuff but people still make fun of him...its cruel and unfair so i would ask that you'd pray for him...pray for those who are hurting him...and pray that this will all be figured out...i don't like it when my friends are hurt...
finally...a prayer for myself...just a general prayer...thankies!

I heard a woman talk about a similiar situation of a parent trying to take an adopted child away. That's so tragic. I'll be praying that the Lord will do his will in this little girl's life. I'll also be praying for your friend. I can't imagine how difficult it must be to live everyday with a physical infermity like that.

Oh, man, that's so sad! I can't imagine being that little girl, having my world continually flipped upside down like that. I'll pray that God will do the best thing for her, and that if it's his will that your friend will be able to keep her.
I will also be praying for you friend who is paralyzed. My cousin is also paralyzed from the waist down, she was born without muscle in her legs. Because of that I've seen how differently people are treated because of things like that, it's pretty sad. I'll pray that your friend will find people who will accept him and look beyond his disabilities and love him for who he is. People who will be an encouragement to him. And I'll be praying for you too

I'll be sure tp keep the adopted mother and daughter in my prayers. I hope that whatever happens, is the right thing.
I'll also keep keep your friend in my prayers. It's really unfortunate that people can be immature. I pray that God gives him strength.
I'll also be praying for you too steelbeliever.

I'll be praying. About your friend, I have an idea what it's like for him. I work with clients in a day program, and a few are wheelchair bound. Since I've been trained to communicate with them (and everybody for that matter) as fellow human beings and not talk down to them, it bothers me that your friend is being teased even though he's still capable of doing a lot of things despite his paralysis.
Again, I'm praying. For the little girl too.
