Ok, her name is Amanda and her and my brother have been dating for around two years. She's seventeen and a very nice girl.
And just recently she started having pain in her knee, and she ended up going to the doctor around yesterday and found out that her Tibia (Knee bone) is dead. Now if you know anything of anything you will know it's not good when a bone dies.
Turns out there is a %99 chance that she will have to have a bone replacement. But the replacements only last 15 to 20 years and you can only have a maximum of three replacements. She's only 17.
There is a replacement that lasts fifty to sixty years. And her mom was looking around on the internet for doctors who do this, but so far the only doctors who will do these surgeries are in Japan.
While this is enough to make someone cry already it get's worse.
When she was around seven she had Tuberculosis but got rid of it. But it came back around the time she was eleven. They had her on steroids to rid her of it that time also but she had a stroke sometime after that. But she again managed to lose the decease and everything went fine.
But now they just found out about this. They say it more than likely started around two years ago.
So now she's going in Tuesday to get a full body scan to find out if it has effected any other parts of her body. :waah!:
This could really be bad...

If all you guys could take just at least 10 seconds out of your day and just say a prayer for Amanda it would be AWESOME!

It's just such a sad thing that is happening right now...

God Bless You All,
Aaron

I'll definately be praying, bro! What terrible health troubles! I'm so sorry to hear about that. I'll pray that her faith might be strengthened and that she might draw near to God while she goes through this tough time. Sheesh, this girl needs a break, huh? I'll pray for healing. Good thing we're gonna get brand new bodies, cause these ones just don't hold up too well sometimes...

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Wow, thats alot to deal with.

Your friend definately has my prayers, I hope she is healed, and I pray that God will be done. I have faith though things will get better, if God could heal me of cancer, then God can heal her bones. I'll pray His will be done and that Amanda leaves this situation with an awesome testimony to give glory to God. She has my full prayer attention and support. Do keep us informed on things.

God bless,
Archan

Thank you all! My brother said they've managed to find someone who will do the 50 to 60 year replacement a few hours away from here. But if that doesn't work out there is someone who also does it in Chicago. Better than flying clear to Japan at least.

Thank you guys! Aaron

That certainly is sad :( She is in the prayers of many. With God, nothing is impossible, though, always remember that. There are many miracles that happen that frankly baffle scientists. Don't give up hope!
