Could you please pray for me?

Hi all,
Though I'm relatively new here and don't know many of you, I was hoping you could remember to pray for me sometime before this Thursday (which would be Wednesday for those of you in the US).
I will be sitting for my Christian Ethics exam at 6.30pm, after work. It will go for around 2 hours and will comprise of 3 - 4 essay type questions.
I am feeling kinda nervous and afraid because this is a supplementary exam (I failed the first one and was offered this second chance, thank God).
I think the nervousness comes from the thought of forgetting something, since this subject covers Old Testament, New Testament, and philosophical ethics. Ever since I found out about my second chance, I have been reading and summarising my notes and going through the summaries. However I can usually get around 2 hours of study per night, as I feel pretty tired after work on most days.
As of this morning on the train my brain kinda went back to neuron fusion mode and refused to "work". I know that if I pass this exam it will be entirely the grace of God - there is just no way I can do this on my own.
Could you please pray that I'd not fear but put my trust in Christ, do my best to study until the day of the exam and just leave it all to God?
Thank you in anticipation.
Cheers.

First of, Hi!
Second, dude, you have earned so many brownie poits just for being an Aussie, you rock!
Third, I know what it's like to be uber stressed for exams and such while pulling in rediculous hours to work only to deal with a instructor who could care less about you life and what you have to go through, been doing it for four years, but as you said I put all my trust in God, that God's will be done, and understand that no matter what the outcome, God has great things in store for me and only has my best interest at heart. So I offer this advise to you, God's will is done regardless, but I will pray that you recieve peace, that you will take comfort in knowing He controls all things including how you will do in this exam, that you let God shoulder your burden, and that He gives you peace of mind and rest for the day you take your exam. Finally, that no matter what the outcome of this exam, fail or pass, that you will recieve understanding of God's will and what He has in store for you.
God bless,
Archan

Hi guys,
Just decided to pop in for a quick break after a bit of study.
Thanks to all of you for keeping me in your prayers, I really appreciate it.

Archan - so am I right to assume there are not many members from Aussie? Or that you're from Oz as well? Or both?
And I agree with you .. whatever happens, God's will is done.
Cheers.

There aren't many Aussie members... way less than 10 I'd say. I'm the only regular Aussie gal on here... there's Warrior4Jesus, Zane.... err... *has forgotten the rest* XD
edit: we also have a few kiwis on here. CreatureArt and Photosoph are the only ones I know

Hi guys,
Just did my exam tonight.
Such a big weight of my shoulders. Want to thank you all once again for your prayers, I know God has answered them. How He will answer I don't know. I cannot say for certain I have passed, but there were more philosophical ethics questions this time, and I felt I have got the major points of my arguments correct.
Whatever happens, I thank God for the opportunity to do some Christian Ethics. I've learnt more about reliance on Him as a result of this exam.
In answer to Talame's question:
"Btw, how long have you been studying for?"
A: Around a year and a half now. I have 2.5 more years to go. It's only a Grad. Dip., but I'm doing one subject per session due to full time work. Really spreading it out.
Cheers.

XD 2.5 years?! That's when I finish my degree (God willing). Maybe we should meet up and have a mini-graduation party
Anyway, I am glad that your exam is over now... strewth, I know how you feel bout having a weight taken off your shoulders

*Laughs* your half right, there aren't too many assuies, and unfortunately I'm not from the land down under, though I would luv to be. I seriously want to take a trip over there once I get my BA under my belt. Hey, perhaps you can tell me where some groovey churches are to visit once I do take my little trip no?
Also glad that the wieght on your shoulders is momentarily lifted. At least thats one thing you don't need to think about for the time being eh?
Year and a half huh? Groovey, I myself have been studying for four years, it's such a load. but anyways, I'm glad you taking it slow, no need to overstress ones self no?
Let us know what happens, and keep us informed.
God bless,
Archan
P.S. Talame, 10 extra groovey brownie points to yu as well, you Aussies rock.

Hi all,
Talame - a meet up sound good. It'd be great if we could get other Aussies in this forum together too!
Archan - I love Australia too. It's got some really nice parks and unique wildlife.
I probably can't recommend you any "groovy" churches because I go to an ethnic Chinese Christian church. There's really no "multicultural factor" in my church due to this. Hence I think you won't be see the "true Australia" in this sense.
However, I do have a few friends who attend different churches, I can check with them.

[font=Times New Roman]Seriously, I'm hyper envious of you for living in Australia.
Any churches would be fine though, hence when I do go I don't have to take a spiritual fast as well ya know? ]

well... Sydney does have Hillsong. I've heard that's pretty famous, though I haven't been to it myself (not a big fan on crowds)

I'm not big on crowds either, I like small down to earth churches, the prayer and the worship just feels more genuine, and there's a really great family vibe with small churches, like everyone is really willing to band together for another member. Also I grew up in a rather big church, not very fond of it at all.
How about you Tal, any churches you'd recommend?
God bless,
Archan

I don't actually live in Sydney... I'm an ACT girl (Australian Capital Territory) It's about 3 or so hours south of Sydney, and ALOT more pretty
O, and I have just the church that you'd probably be interested in... mine! XD its a tad on the small side, but its very friendly. Hey, if you end up visiting Aussie make sure you come to Canberra k?
That, or I could just go up to Sydney for a day and meet you and Ultra for a coffee or something.

Hi guys,
Canberra's really not that far from Sydney. So Archan if you decide to visit Canberra instead, that's fine, I can probably drive to there and meet up with you guys.
It's been a while since I've been to Canberra. Can't remember much of the place. I know there's some floral exhibition once a year, but I'm not a big fan of flowers. LOL.
Cheers.
