This maybe kinda selfish, but I want to be prayed for something. This thing had been in me for years... And I don't want to make it worse since I'll be in college in 2 years... This thing is my laziness at studying, many of my colleagues or friends think I am industrious because I get high grades but this is due to the fact that I always have faith in Christ.. But I can't always do that, I must remove this thing and start walking on my own... If you can pray for me, I'd appreciate it.. Thanks.. God Bless to whoever reads this!

I'll be praying for you, buddy. It's not selfish to ask for prayer about that. It's cool that you want to be productive. I do too! Plus in being "not lazy" we can be a blessing to each other, yeah?

Absolutely Syreth! The Bible even encourages us to work hard (though not to the point where we rely only on ourselves... a healthy mix of relying of God and doing hard work is what is best). Afterall, God gave you brains... He doesn't want you to waste them :P

I'll pray for you too matie... in fact, its an area I've been struggling with too. :thumb: How bout we all pray for eachother!

Proverbs 12:24
24 Diligent hands will rule,
but laziness ends in slave labor.

Proverbs 14:23
23 All hard work brings a profit,
but mere talk leads only to poverty.

If you don't mind, include me. I make good grades but I don't study, and I have a friendly competition with another buddy of mine as far as grades go. Me and him are both smart (I don't mean to brag...), and it's been said that if we were to leave, my school would shut down because they wouldn't pass the grade test. Of course, I don't think that...but anyway, I do need to work harder.

No worries I was in the same boat and guess what I'm going to college and fine at keeping productive... it's a process and not something you can just randomly pick up as a habit. I soon found out that I was relying on God to help me with the material and productivity (and remembering to do so) than asking for only help on the test or whatever. You can't do anything alone... trust me it says bibically... just ask for God to help you with both the test and the strength to keep active it's like double the power!

And by the way don't over whelm yourself trying to keep active remember God rested on the 7th day ;) . Take care your going to do great!

Your in my prayers!

Of couse we don't mind. I think we all tend to slack off at times. It's especially dangerous when we do so in our devotion to God. This is something I'm in a bit of a battle with too. Not to steal your thread or anything, but if you think of it, say a prayer for me too!

Awesome proverbs! They are so simple, profound and true!
