Famine in Niger

Postby phinny5608 » Tue Jul 26, 2005 8:47 pm

I'm watching a report on ABC right now (I encourage you to watch it too if you see this in time). There's a massive famine in Niger-- so bad that this news show put off what they were going to report to do this instead. I encourage you all to please pray for Niger and Africa in general. That continent is in crisis.

Wow, yeah. Africa is really in need and has been forgotten for too long for me in my prayer life. All this terrible stuff going on is really heartwrenching. This famine and also the LRA (Lord's Resistance Army -- a Christian cult that's trying to overthrow the government in Ughanda) seem to be wrecking havoc over there. I'll be praying for Africa.

Yes, the people of Africa are definitely in need of prayer, for not only their physical needs, but also their spiritual needs. I'm praying.

Yup the people of Africa, I knew the news while watching cnn, whooh, it wasn't a nice view or a nice thing to see, thanks for reminding to pray 4 it, i appreciate it...

Just want to tell something, as an ambassador of Christ, as Christians isn't it also our job to pray for the world, I mean it's not only Africa where famine is, a lot of people in this world are in pain, it may be financialy or even on their everyday needs, I just want to encourage everyone to pray for the world... Isn't it our job?

Maybe I'll start a thread about this, looks really important...
God has a plan for each of us
He wants us to fullfill
And He'll provide the strength we need
To carry out His will.

God bless.. :jump:
