Tragedy in the Family

Hey guys.
I just wanted to ask for prayer for my extended family tonight and over the coming days.
My cousin Makaela was ran over by their tractor tonight, and she was killed.
It was a freak accident, the tractor slipped out of gear, it had had the break on, and it rolled down the driveway, knocked her over and ran over her head and upper body. She more or less died instantly. She was only 10. Please remember my aunt and uncle and their other 2 children in prayer, as well as my grandparents and the rest of our family. I'm kinda in shock right now. My aunt's name is Rose, and her husband's named Lester. Please especially remember her 15 year old Sister Lindsay in prayer. She saw it happen and was nearly hit herself.
I know that all things work together for good for those who love him and are called according to his purposes, and I also believe that we are here to bring Glory to the nmae of the Lord, so either in her death or her life, he will be glorified. I also know God is more than able to raise her from the dead, but I pray that the Lord's will be done. While I want her to come back for my own reasons, I also know that she is with Jesus, and there is no better place on earth. The family are believers, so that is a plus. Unlike the people of the World we have the assurance that we will meet again, but it will be hard for a while.
Thanks for your time and prayers
Lightup.

Oh Lord, I pray this tragedy wouldn't be used by the devil to turn anyone in the family to bitterness and away from You! Thank you that the girl is with You in heaven, but please remember the hurting family and send them comfort and help. Please, fix this. Even if we can't understand the tragedy, please bring comfort and help to those hurt by it. Thank You, Lord.

That is so sad. Brought tears to my eyes as I read it. I will pray for you and your familly. Looseing a loved one is very hard. Her poor sister must be tramatized. I'm glad that she was saved. Remeber that tonight your cousin is with the Lord.

Oh my.... I'm speechless.
I'll definitely be praying for the whole family. I can only image what kind heart-ache they must be feeling. I pray the Lord helps comfort everyone who is was involved. I'm sorry to hear that happen to Makaela. Now she's home in the loving hands of the Lord.
My condolences.

Wow. I'm greatly concerned about Lindsay. That's something no one should have to witness.
How are your aunt and uncle doing today?

I saw your away message on AIM yesterday and wondered what was wrong, but I decided to follow your wishes and leave you alone.
At any rate, that's horrible...but good that she is in Heaven now.
I'm definitely praying for you. I hope God will grant your family peace.

I was shocked even to read your thread. I will be praying. I'm glad that God has given you the comfort of knowing that she's with Him, even though it will be hard for a season. I just pray that God would come upon your family in such a way that He would be glorified in this and that your family would be comforted.

Father,
I am at a lost trying to understand the emotional trauma and pain being felt by this family right now. But I know You understand their pain intimately, having gone through it Yourself. I know You are wise and You are just. Nothing happens that is out of Your control. Teach LightUpTheDark and her family Your ways. Comfort them and dry their tears.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. I greatly appreciate it and am glad I have a community of believers to turn to online for susch a thing. My faith in this situation has proven to be unshakably grounded in the Lord, and I only pray that the rest is the same for my aunt and her family. I'm going to see them tonight, I'll let everyone know how they are doing.
God Bless.

Everyone in the family seems to be doing well, all things considering. My aunt keeps saying that it was just her daughter's time to go. I think the peace of the Lord has really strengthened them, which is good to see. The kids have seemed to bounce back a little faster then I would have thought. I'm not sure if that's a good or bad thing. But, thanks again for your prayers.
