... strewth. It is so sad when someone wants to end their lives; in fact, its infuriating! Satan and His stinking lies! He is a roaring lion seeking to steal kill and destroy.
Dear Lord, we come before you today to lift up our hurting sister. Lord, I don't know exactly what she is going through, but You do and only You can truly heal her and pull her out of this pit. Lord Jesus, please be her comforter during this time; prevent her from doing anything rash and Lord please bring to light the root of this problem so that it can be completely destroyed.
Lord, we proclaim that You are Lord of Crystal's life; no weapon formed against her shall prosper, not even the weapon of suicide. Lord, please use this time to refine Crystal, to rid her life of anything that isn't of you and help her to rely on You more and more. Create in her a pure and contrite heart Lord; give her a humble and loving spirit. Turn her into the crystal You want her to be Lord; help her to shine forth Your light and to be yet another witness of Your awesome healing and saving power.
Thankyou God, awesome Redeemer and Sanctifier! Praise be to You, Lord Jesus, for the healing that will take place in this young woman's life!

So many people wanting to kill themselves? Its so sad. Everyone goes through tough peroids in their lives and we just have to rely more on God to get us through those times. A Christian counsellor will definetly help. I have depression (nothing suicidal) but it has helped immensly. I'll be praying for your friend.
God Bless!

I will pray for Crystal, and I hope this threat of suicide is just a ploy to get attention. Sometimes people just threaten to commit suicide to get attention, but other times it is a real threat. Either way it is complete selfishness. In John 17:15 Jesus said these words; [I]“My prayer is not that you take them out of the world but that you protect them from the evil one.â€

I will pray.
Get ahold of an adult in her life who would watch over her today, and let them know, if you haven't already. Seriously. Someone responsible near her (physically) needs to be keeping an eye on her today, especially with such a specific time she listed.

Well, if she threaten she's going to kill herself then why don't you get someone to stop her?
Her blog seems so full of hate and anger it's sad. Yet at the same time she talks about how her friends, brother and mother really care for her. I don't know exactly what she may be going through but most of us could probably relate in her feeling. Try talking to her, that's usually the best relief for someone in that situation.
I'll be praying.

I suffer from depression but I would never kill myself because I know the Lord is there. Councling really helps as does having someone to talk to. I will pray for Crystal. Make sure to tell an adult who knows her. If need be she might have to go in for suicide watch. I had a roommate who would get suicidal when she went off her medications. She would hurt herself and try to kill herself. We had to send her to the hospital to be watched several times and once to have her stomach pumped. It's a very scary thing to know someone who wants to die.

I'm not that good at saying prayers but I'm going to attempt to write it out from now on.
Dear God,
Please save Crystal from taking her life. You love her and your plan for her is never self-destruction. I pray for the Holy Spirit to minister to her and to fill her with peace and comfort of the soul that only You can provide. Please give her the patience and strength to undergo the difficulties of life. Carry her through the valley just as You have faithfully seen the rest of us through. If it is Your will, please lead her to someone who can guide and support her. Amen.

I hope that this was not a real threat, I have been praying for this person all day...I just hope God moved into this person's life and stoped them from making a big mistake...
I wanted to post this eariler... I pray I am not too late...
To all those who are thinking about suicide,
Suicide is the greatest act of selfishness a person can commit. But like all selfish acts, if we learn to look away from ourselves and to Jesus we can find reason and purpose for our lives once again. [I]“Looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.â€

Thanks for all the prayer. She didn't do it, though she doesn't seem to be free from sadness. I think the major reason why she wanted to do this was because her life is so full of hard times that just don't seem to stop. I know from my own experience that it can be so awful to feel like the harshness of this life just doesn't stop, and you feel like you would rather be dead (even if not by way of suicide). But, later on I don't feel like that.
It's kind of like when Elijah fled from Jezebel: "(3)Elijah was afraid and ran for his life. When he came to Beersheba in Judah, he left his servant there, (4)while he himself went a day's journey into the desert. He came to a broom tree, sat down under it and prayed that he might die. 'I have had enough, LORD,' he said. 'Take my life; I am no better than my ancestors.' (5)Then he lay down under the tree and fell asleep." 1 Kings 19:3-5 (NIV)
It didn't end for Elijah there, of course. God fed him there to give him strength. How many people here can say they've felt that way? I know I can.

I had given up once before. I thought that my life was all for pain. I wanted the spinning to stop. I wanted the world to end. I wanted to die. Then I found the light and it raised me up to the sky. Now I dont keep the pain bottled up inside. That just causes more grief and pain. I find an outlet. I draw and write poetry. If you havent noticed already that my poems and pictures are usually sad, now you know. I write when i am in the dark. Alone and afraid though it may not seem it. I pour my pain and the darkness of my heart out onto the paper. Like a box that i can lock up and never have to open again. Everyone has pain. Even if they dont realize it. Some live their pain. But they are those who cannot see the love that god has for them. He alone can take their troubles away. He alone heals the wounds on the heart. He alone can give them peace.

It was Corrie Ten Boom who said, "When a train goes into a long dark tunnel do you jump out? No! You trust the conductor to get you through."
The Bible Says:
He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. ~Philippians 1:6
The bible also says:
[I]“For I know the plans I have for you,â€
