I am very worried about my friend, Carmen. She has suffered a great amount of loss and trauma over the last year and she isn't really doing very well. Although her faith in God in pretty strong she needs prayer.
To let you know a little of what she is enduring, in the past year she has lost her real father, her step-father, her father-in-law, the mother of a close friend...and now the maintenance guy in her building, with whom she and her husband are friends, is in ICU in a deep coma that he may never come out of...(he needs prayer too as does the man who tried to kill him) I am so worried about me friend. Last night she said that she feels like she's losing it. I told her that I know that it is hard and that no one expects her to be perfectly ok with everything she has endured. I told her that eventually she would be ok and that she needs to remember that God never gives us more than he knows we can handle. But, please, please, pray for her.
Thanx

Oh my goodness. That's so tragic! Life is such a delicate thing. It sounds like your friend is getting absolutely hammered with trials from every side. I'll pray that she would trust in the Lord's strength in this situation and that you, as her friend, would be given the words to say and the discretion to say them at the right time. It sounds like a situation when you just have to be there for the person and just love on them, though I'm sure you know that.

I'll pray for her too even though you never call me, e-mail me, or write me. ;_;

I have been praying, and here's a verse for Carman:

Deuteronomy 31:8
8 And the LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed."
NKJV
