My friends new black lab/ australian sheperd puppy is really sick with parvo, the dog's name is mavi, my firend loves this dog so much, and is heartbroken. Please pray that the dog will live, and if it the dog does die, that my friend will not become depressed.
thanks.

Poor puppy! I'll be praying for it.

If God's mindful of sparrows, I know he's keeping watch over this puppy.

Man, that sounds so familiar. The same thing happened to me. I had a black lab puppy for a couple of days, and then she died of parvo. And yes, I got very depressed. Ha, my parents only got me the dog to cheer me up....

Sure I'll pray for your friend. Parvo is a real killer so if the dog survives it *will* be a miracle, I believe.

It always hurts to loose a friend, especially a K-9 friend. I pray that you friend’s dog will get better, or that he will go in peace and that your friend will not let himself be overcome by grief.

God Bless

I'm praying.

The next time tell him that the puppy will go to heaven. Which is much better than here, this place is a trash can! The puppy will love it there, never pain...never hurt..a land flowing with milk and honey.

It'll automaticly comfort him (if he's Christian), I hope!.

And yes, there are animals in heaven. their soul goes there. :)

God bless that puppy, and let your will be done to it...

I, too, believe animals go to heaven.

Even if they don't have human souls, they do have animal souls. Anyway, I'm just agreeing with Ryupower. Don't mind me. ^^

UPDATE ON THE PUPPY: She came home with them last night because the bills for her to stay in the hospital ovrnight where to high (Grrrr..... family says its to expensive, when it's an animals life!), she'll go back to the hospital around 1, the vet says its now a 50/50 chance of the dog living.

My sisters puppy got parvo, we prayed and prayed. Then we finely found a vet that would take him,
and when we got there, the vet was shocked at how good he was doing.
He got all better. Mostly because of God grace.
I will be praying.
Also make sure the puppy is getting all the water he can drink.
If he wont drink on his own, get a big syringe and squirt it down his troat.

I didn't know mine was sick until it was almost too late. The funny thing is.... I felt like I should pray about it... about the puppy or something... the night before. But I put it off.

I felt really guilty about that afterwards. :sniffle:

You should never be afraid to pray Alice.
I pray I feel the need, driving, washing dishes, whatever.
I just talk to god in my mind.
More then once it has payed off. And I got a small miracle.
Sometimes people think of a miracle as something big and awesome. But I think God makes miracles all the time, big and small.
