Congratulations! That's great.

Personally, I would not thing 21 is too young if you have properly thought it through.

I don't think so. I know of many lasting marriages that began even younger than that. Age shouldn't be a factor--if you sincerely believe that he is the right one for you (and you do so by seeking out the Lord's will), I don't think you should put it off. I think there's a lot of advantages marrying young--not to be rushed, of course, but so what if you're both young?

Have you considered pre-marital counciling? My parents and many other godly couples I know of have told me it was invaluable to them.

I'd 2nd ash on that. The counciling wasn't something I thought I'd get anything out of, but I learned a few things about how my wife's brain works that I'd never thought of before. Come to find out about, oh, 5 years later, that it was useful info to know - making the experience totally worthwhile.

Just a thought...

Ah the blessed event of getting married. I am not a married man myself, but I have watched two older brother’s plus an "adopted brother" get married, and I tell you that it is one of the most frightening, exhilarating, exciting, and joyous of times in a person's life. Just remember to love the Lord first, then your family. It takes a lot of give to make a relationship work, but if you both have God as the center of your lives, and think about each other, you should have no problem growing old together!

I'll be praying that you wedding goes well, marriage goes well, and that you both have long happy lives together!

Congratulations!!!

God Bless

That's so wonderful! I pray that you guys will be a true testimony to the world, even if it's just showing a glimpse of what Christ's relationship with the Church is. I'll pray that your blessings abound as you seek the Lord and dedicate your lives to Him.
