i've been getting in a real rotten mood lately and i need prayers for that to stop. been being mean and yellin at people and sayin things i shouldnt. i guess some of it is because i've had alot bothering me lately, and the devil has been attacking alot too. i just got done prayin about it and i threw away all my metalcore/death metal music and listenin to some praise and worship now. and im gonna go throw all my chains and spikes in the pond by my house tomorrow. maybe all that stuff was just for attention or something. so please pray for me cause this isnt good at all, my family thought i stopped reading my bible and stuff and said i wasnt acting right :sniffle:

Death metal music, chains and spikes? Yeah as a parent of a teen myself my little WHOANELLY radar would be going a mile a minute. Just remember our relationship with the Lord is all about change. We are new creatures, a new creation, the old is past, the Scriptures are filled with this fact. And it's not always pleasing. Jesus talked about the pruning that must take place in people's lives. Guess what...pruning can be a painful experience. But it's all to our benefit. Thumbs up to you :thumb: for seeing the need in your life to make right your attitudes and do something about it even if its throwing that death metal music, chains and spikes in the pond (might want to check the water pollution laws in your area first though). I'm praying for you and know you will do the right thing.

What kind of entertainment you absorb CAN affect your mood in ways you might not want it too. I will pray for you as well.

*laughs* I like that.

I'll be praying for you, sldr4Christ. I'm very happy that you're making a consious effort to change you attitude, even tracing it back to the "garbage in, garbage out" way of thinking. It's most certainly a daily walk, isn't it?
