Two of my dearest friends, who I have known since I was very little, are moving away this summer. I spent years with them and their animals and as you can imagine, this move will be very hard on me and my family. Please pray for strength for all of us. :waah!:

I know what it's like to have a close friend move away or to be the one moving away. I'll pray for you guys. :) Thank goodness for internet, huh?

Why are they moving away? Is it a good or a sad reason? Sometimes it helps if it's good like a promotion or something. Either way, I will be praying.

Well, they own this ranch. Someone blew the whistle on them for having too many animals. What they're doing isn't illegal, because they have papers that allow them to keep so many animals. All of the animals are well cared for and most of them are being boarded by other people. They don't want to be hassled anymore, because this has happened before. That's why they're moving. :sniffle:

I'm so sorry to hear that! I kinda know the feeling. One of my only really close friends has been planning to move across the province since January. She actually totally altered her plans and decided to stay in town just last week. I'm still trying to process the whole change of plans...especially since I'd finally accepted that she was going and planned all the ways that we would stay in touch. This isn't the first time that she's left town though, and I know from previous experience that it is really possible to stay in touch long distance. And ya never know what'll happen, plans can change quite suddenly and sometimes people come back outta the blue.

But it is the pits, not being in close proximity to your friends, and being able to get together whenever you want. I'll most definitely be praying for ya, and if you ever need to talk my PM box is always open ^_^

Thanx! It's just hard, because one of them hates technology so I can't email her or call her cell phone. I guess that's what living on a ranch for so long does. O_o

Ouch, that's tricky. Maybe you could write letters? Or visit them for week?
