Praise Report: Unexpected Blessing

Well, due to some unexpected internet complications, I was unable to participate in the prayer guardians this last semester and once again disappeared from CAA for a few months, but God has done some awesome things in the meantime. For one, I took the Hebrews class offered at my Bible College. If you want to learn some practical theology, if you want to know how to walk by faith and to go onto maturity as a Christian, then study the book of Hebrews. That particular book of the Bible, that particular class has blessed my socks off. It has really revolutionized my relationship with the Lord.
Another unexpected blessing this semester was some extra time on my hands during the weekends. This gave me the opportunity to go down to Mexico every other week and help a church in Pedrogales by doing various practical things. It is such a huge blessing to be able to put into practice what I have been studying at college. Sometimes you feel bottled up as you spend extra time studying the Word and not as much time serving and living a practical Christian life.
Yet another unexplainable thing happened. Just by chance I went to a group meeting at my school called "Missions Fellowship." I hadn't been going for the semester, but decided to go on this particular day. At the end of the meeting, I was invited to go to China to smuggle Bibles. I quickly said, "okay!" cause China had been on my heart for awhile. I went right after the semester ended. I got back yesterday, actually, and what a huge blessing it was! We have such an opportunity as westerners to help our persecuted brothers and sisters in China by bringing them the Word of God. You might ask, "don't they have Bibles in China?" Yes, they do, but they are only supplied to the three-self church (the church owned and operated by the communist government) and are extremely difficult for anyone in a house church to get. The Bibles that we brought into China are going to people who have never had their hands on their own Bible.
Goodness, I'm so undeserving to have had such an opportunity to serve the Lord in these ways. Thank you so much for those of you who remembered to pray for me. I desperately needed it. I was praying for you guys as well. I hope to get involved in the prayer going on this summer. Thanks for reading and say a word of praise to our awesome God!
