allright. so my school is christian and i love it to death... however problems have arose in the past few months. some of my friends are starting to indulge in bad habits i would rather not mention, but they are definitly not God- glorifying.i myself have also done something similar but that was a one time thing and its no longer continuing after quite a long prayer session. anyway, since its a small school, im running out of people to turn to. i have a few close friends yes, but its like really weird when all ur close friends start turning away from God to fufill their selfish desires.i am in no way perfect either. we have chapel on wednesdays to sing and have a speaker come in. todays messege was aboiut giving into temptation. which totally made me glad that i had decided to follow God. everyone who indulged in these wrongdoings had no look of remorse on their faces. im trying so hard to stay close to God, but its hard when your friends could care less about Him...

James 5
19My brothers, if one of you should wander from the truth and someone should bring him back, 20remember this: Whoever turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and cover over a multitude of sins.
we all stumble, it is part of our learning process. but we also need friends to help us get back up. God never ment for us to go at this alone, that is why He made us a body. over and over God has commanded us and called us to look out for one another. and you need to for your friends, pray for them and confrunt them with the truth. it will be hard, but they will thank you later...jsut be honest with them and with God
Gal 6
1Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted. 2Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

I also recomend confronting your friends, but do so with humility. If they feel cornered, they will toss your own short-comings back into your face, but don't let this discourage you. Your shortcomings do not grant your friends permission to continue sinning.
Father,
Give Your servant strength to follow Your calling. To put away the sins of his past and blaze a new trail - the one of Your choosing. Give him the courage to rebuke those who have choosen to stray from Your path and the wisdom to accept rebuke when he is the one who has strayed.
Amen

Yeesh, that happened to me when I first went to a Christian school a few years back. Unfortunately, I didn't know how to handle it except to separate myself from everyone and get depressed.
Don't give up though, because that's exactly what the devil wants! You definitely need to lift your friends up in prayer, but don't give up even though it may seem like nothing is working. You now have a chance to be a witness to them; a light shining in the darkness.
You may be met with rejection and persecution, but don't give up though, because that's exactly what the devil wants!
I'll be praying for you too. ^^
Remember, you can do all things through Christ Who gives you the strength!
Be blessed,
