Hello. About a week ago I experienced a pretty bad headache and pressure build-up in my ears. I thought it was due to all the stress from last Monday plus the change in altitude from where I was driving that day. Not so. It's still going on. Chewing gum doesn't happen either. I don't know if it's a head cold or not, because I don't have severe nasal congestion like I usually do, although my voice is effected to a degree. And my ears keep ringing and I have to turn the volume up higher, or ask someone to repeat what was said. It's really frustrating. What's really bothering me is the pain which I feel in the front of my head, and the clogging feeling in my ears. My sister suggests it could be an ear infection or something. My aunt's a nurse, and she's coming over tonight. I'll talk to her about it.

I hope you feel better...have you thought about the possibility of sinus problems, maybe? I'll pray for you.

My guess is that it's either allergies, sinus infection or an ear infection.

Allegies can give ya that stuffy feeling in your head and eyes as well clog your ears and sometimes headaches (migraines) can result too from that stuff.

Also, ear infections I'm very prone too. This past year I've had 4 inner ear infections due to the hole in my ear drum that can't heal. But yeah, when it's infected I actually have puss drain out of my ear (b/c of the hole). Also, hearing is significally shot when w/ infections... fading in and out. Anyways, my guess is either one of those...

It's probably a cold. A couple of days ago I developed a sore throat, which has now become dry and itchy. And I'm still sneezing now and then during the day. At least the headache has lessened.

Aww. I will pray for you. I had some bacterial infection in my tonsils since September. Since it didn't flare up until recently (and the only symptom was coughing up phlegm like a smoker, and not being one) I just NOW got the antibiotics for it. Don't be like me. When in doubt, see the doc.
