Well... Here's the short of it: I want to take a school called "TESOL" which stands for "Teaching English to speakers of other langauges"
It will be part of my staff commitment here (luckily, spelling isn't the most important thing of teaching a foreigner language speaker english...) and for those of you who don't know what I'm talking about, I don't feel like explaining... ^u^
Um... Anyhow, the school is 5 weeks of lecture/homework and 4 weeks of outreach. The total cost of the school is 2400, but staff get a 20% discount. That makes it 1920 that I have to have... by next sunday.
Yeah... Well, I may be able to pay just the first part and then pay the rest before outreach, I still have to work that out with the base director, but either way, that's still a lot of money I need by next sunday. I am going to write to my brother who is also my pastor at home, and ask if the church can help me out and if he can make copies of the letter to show to people at church. I have one friend who said he'll "see what {he} can do"
Basically I was a bit irresponsible because I procrastinated telling anyone about this and asking for support. I really want to do this school, however, and I could really use prayer that I will get the money on time.
