Family room ceiling cracking from water

Two small spots near the sliding glass door.
Why.
Rains are not even supposed to turn to showers until Sunday.

I know that the Prayer Guardians rules say not to just leave a short post just saying that you are praying, but I am worried and just saying that you are praying would make me feel better.

As of yesterday it stopped raining. It is supposed to start showering again later today. My dad and brother were up on the roof fixing the tarps yesterday, so hopefully that will help prevent more leaks. The insurance claims guy is coming tomorrow, not that the insurance is expected to cover much. The insurance company is as bad with home coverage in my family's experience as they are good with cars. The family room smells strongly of lysol and dampness that has/would grow mold.
