low point in life...

Hey everybody, I know we all have our high and low points in life. Mine's at a definite low. :( First of all, I got a schedule change at my school and I hardly get to see any of my friends. I don't get to see anyone I know at lunch because my school is totally retarted and has 2 lunches. Ughhhh... my school is such a dump and I hate its guts. Second, I have this huge engineering fair project and it's just piling on the stress. I'm beggining to regret doing it with a partner. Third, there's this kid in one of my classes who's such a total jerk. He is always making fun of me for not looking at porn and just not being a total pervert like he is. He is about as anti-Christain/satanist as they get. I usually don't let people like this get to me, but he just adds on to my list of complications. And then last of all, I just feel kinda' depresed. My battle with lust is going well, and I have no problems at home, so about 95% of my problems are school-related. But stil, my life kinda' just temporarily sucks. Please pray that God will give me the strength to help me through.

All I can say is hang in there. There's a silver lining to every cloud, so they say. . .I haven't found the silver lining to school, except for my friends. low points pass, and yours will too. I will pray for you, and for the porn jerk-it sounds like he's very insecure and needs direction.

You'll make it through if you depend on God's guidance, as I'm sure you already know. :thumb: I'll pray!

Hey man, I understand more then you could think...

During my sophomore year in Highschool me and my friends attended a newly built high school. Anyways, I didn't hav any classes with them or even lunch. I would only see them occasionally in the halls. Then my twin brother wanted to transfer back to our old school so I went along. Now to make things worse I wasn't even attending the same school as my friends. It totally sucked; I felt so alone. ALthough me and my friends are still close I had to make more friends. Actually come to think, I believe most school have seperate lunches... at least all the middle and high schools around here do. Anyways, sometimes we need to learn to continue to take things as they come and move forward. Life is full of change.

Depression is nothing new; many of us face it everyday. I've faced it all my life and learned the best way to deal with things is not to focus on all the bad but what good you have. It's so easy to become more depressed by saying, "man this sucks, nothing ever goes my way. WHy does my life suck?" THough, that never helps. It's much easier to decide to keep pushing; continue to smile. The way we think really does play a major part on how we feel. If you think positive, you feel better; if you think negatively, depression sets in.

And this kid you speak of seems to be wrapped up in his whole little world. Let him say what he will, you shouldn't let a kid dictate your feelings or actions. Deep down he's the one searching for something to fill the void in his heart.People tend to do things like that when they are lacking something in their life: security, God, love or whatever it may be. LIfe is bound to get you down at times, but always remember you don't have to stay down. Also remember you have people who care for you; your family, friends and the members here at CAA. I will keep you in my prayers.

hang in there. while there may not be much to look forward to with school right now, try to make the best of what you do have. try reaching out and making new friends in the classes that you have with your new schedule. i know how you feel on the project... due to several bad experiences in middle school unless it was ABSOLUTELY required i refused to work with partners on projects in high school. it may be tough, but take a deep breath, and push on ahead.

i agree that the guy who is tormenting you has some deeper issues. pray for him. and let him know that you are; the fact that you are, despite his treatment of you could push him to question his motives, and give you an opportunity to witness to him.

Come to me all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light. (Matthew 11:28-30).

Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.
(Matthew 6:34).

So people can't handle the words Penis and STD's? that's bull. It's medical terminology. If you can't handle that, you better not take any biology classes or go to the doctor. Ever.

That's stupid.

Getting back to topic, heeroyuy, I will be praying for whatever situation you face in school. Everyone has their own weaknesses or struggles so let's support each other.

Meanwhile, I am very encouraged and inspired to hear that you're living victoriously in your struggle with hentai. Let's keep it up! :thumb:

No Chichiri, whats "stupid" is getting mouthy with a staff member. You have been striked. But by all means, please feel free to take things further. I did not ask you what you thought was ok to post on CAA. I told you. If you don't like how things are run here, the return rate on your membership is a great price.
