My dog has been sick for a couple of weeks. He won't eat. I took him to the vet the other day, and it turns out that he has kidney failure and heartworms. They are keeping him until monday, when they will know if they can get his kidney working again, and if so, they will see if he is strong enough for them to treat his heartworm problem. All of this is probabbly going to cost about $1,000. I am really scared for my dog, so I just ask that you keep him in your prayers. Thank you.

I will indeed pray. Ihave 3 dogs and one just hit her 8th birthday and that is the max lifespan for that species. So I know what it feels like to know one of your non-human best friend may die. I will pray for your dog's safety s well as for you.

Our German shepherd went through heartworms last year, I believe, but it was found early enough to treat. I was still pretty concerned for her, so I can certainly understand your worries. I will pray for your dog and for you, Yokou.

I appreciate all of your prayers. Thank you all. My dog died today. It was hard for my family and I, but we are glad that he is no longer in pain. Thank you for praying for him.

i understand your feelings. I had 3 dogs in my life. The last 2 had to be put to sleep (I don't know what happened to the first one) and ive had one of them since it was a puppy

Who knows that the spirit of man ascends upward and the spirit of the beast descends downward to the earth?

So you see...maybe you'll see your friend in heaven someday. ^_^
