My sister and the youth group

Please pray for my sister cause she doesn't feel accepted by my church's youth group.

Though I think a large potion is because of how my sister is, thier's this one girl (who is a 8th grader mind you) that think she runs the youth group (and in a way she does...she decides what songs they sing, who prays, what acitivities they do - we dont have a youth pastor...just a dad of one of the kids "runs" it). This girl despises my sister for whatever reason and has turned everyone against her...like I said I also think it's my sisters fault as well.

I have been talking to several of my friends whom I can trust (i could never trust this girl to talk to her...she wa sjumping for joy when I left) and they're going to try and include he rand make her feel welcome. Now this girl has gotten to be friends with the youth leader (on eof my best friends who helps run the youth group) and suppsidely is using him for her advacning agenda of (as she says)" youth group domination.

So please pray for my sister as well as the youth group. I also might do some intervening since I was the youth leader last year.

i will definatley pray for your sister. I didn't feel too accepted into my youth group because I was asian. And I went to a Caucasian (mainly) youth group. I didn't know much people. But overtime, I got to know many people, i got to know the youth pastor. And a lot of people. And now they are like family to me ^^

One reason I'm a little upset cause these kids that aren't accepting my sister are my good friends that look up to (and that beg me to come to youth group eevry sunday -_-)

They treated me amost like a youth pastor or something bigger when I was in youth group yet they talk behind, keep secrets, and avoid my sister at all costs. I need soem prayer in that category, for my anger.

Thanks so much though ^_^ I know I ask fro alot of prayer.

This kind of crap makes me sick. This is another reason why so many non-religious people look at Christians and laugh.

"Look, they can't even get along with each other or follow their own principles. What a joke!"

Christians really should be banding together, not pushing each other away. Something like this happened at my old church, except the people pushed away (my friends) did NOTHING TO DESERVE IT. It was basically they were in a Christian band and the other group leader's brother led another band and they were rivals. My friends tried to be nice to the others, but they just treated them like they had leprosy.

Thing was, i was friends with BOTH of them. So the other group tried to get me to not hang out with them and such. This stuff really makes me sick.

I hope you can get this resolved. it really is too bad. Maybe you and your sister could come together and try to work something out plan wise. Maybe talking to some of the other people about it might work. Just becareful who you talk to.

Ah, life as an outsider (raises her hand, points to self). I'll pray for your sister.

ill pray too, i know what your going threw. its like you feel so betrayed because your thinking to yourself how can they be this way with me and not with her. how can they treat her differently then they treated me?? and it hurts allot. i dont understand how people can treat a member of someones family like that if they know and respect another member?? ill be praying for you. God bless you so much, i really mean that.

It is a shame what some people, like this girl dominating the youth group, do "in the name of the Lord" (note the quotation marks). I'll pray for your sister, the youth group, as well as this other girl, since it seems as if she needs to correct a few things in her Christian walk.
