I'm leaving for the doctor's office in a few minutes and I'm getting nervous! I'm trying not to be nervous but the closer the time gets the more anxious I get

WAAAH! I haven't been in so long, I don't remember what it's like to feel needles!

Take heart. Childhood memories, as I have lately discovered, are vastly exhaggerated. I'm sure nothing will be as bad as you remember-- if that's any consolation.

Well, I'll be praying for you. (BTW, is it just a check-up, or is it a sick visit?)

I just got back and everything went great! I got nervous when the lady said she needed to stick my finger (I prefer a needle in the arm over the finger prick ) but it wasn't as painful as I remember. Maybe because they're getting better gadgets

Overall, everything is in working order. I'm as healthy as a horse!

(starts dancing vigourously...) (...and quickly tires)
