I must say, even with such a violent history, it shows how much you do love your father that you would send him to your homeland so he could live out the rest of his days in happiness there. In that aspect, it shows how strong you are internally that you haven't hurt him yet even though you have the power to. I must applaud that because, personally, I would have tripped him down the stairs by now. ^^;;

I am sorry I cannot offer any adivce (I always try to on the prayer forum). All I can say is that I will keep the both of you in my prayers. *~_~*

yes volt, but you must also be a better person towards him. I understand that you and him have a giant grudge towards him, but showing him hate won't solve anything. SOMEBODY has to step up and start to make change, and that person should be you. The child of your father. Try beginning to get rid of all your hate, all of the negative past youve had with him. And stuff, and just talk to him. Works things out

I understand completely how you feel, having had an abusive dad. They eventually have to grow up and our forgiveness and love, sometimes when we might be the only loving person they have around, is a great witness.

My dad always knows I'm for real and my faith is real and I honestly believe my witness, since its never changed, has possibly been getting through to him. What is that song, "I'm the only Jesus that they see, or something like that?" Ack, I can't remember anything. Anyways, I think your wanting to send him to his homeland is great. Its very honoring, and we should always honor our parents - even if they were dishonorable cretins. Believe me, I really do know exactly where you're coming from.
