As most of you probably know my views on dating, I won't go into that, but I'll leave it like this; my friend is a relatively new Christian, and he's enthusiastic, but he knows next to nothing about how other religions relate to it. Nor does he know much about Christianity itself. He recently started liking girls...I assume thats due to the fact that he's 14, and the hormones set in. He could not stand to be around them before. Anyway, his new girlfriend is Mormon. We got into a discussion on the way home from Church tonight about their differences, and he said the only thing they believed different was the book of Mormon. The problem is, he is undeniably stubborn. It takes alot to get through to him.

wow, Mormon. I live in Utah, and i know exactly what you mean, and i will pray for you. About the unequally yolked issue, tell him this. God has a plan for who he will have that sort of relationship with. When i see people at school with girlfriends and boyfriends, i get somewhat, i dunno, lonely sometimes but then i remember that God is in control in that area. Try explaining it to him like that.

Thanks. As far as I'm concerned, dating is non existant in my life. I don't care. Not until later, when I'm old enough and can support a family.

The only difference is the Book of Mormon... I think not. Though it is true that the book of Mormon does present a lot of new/different beliefs contrary to the Christian belief. There is more of a difference then just the Book. He needs to do his research. :P

The problem is, he is undeniably stubborn. It takes alot to get through to him.

Just a tip, don't force your religion on him. That's what pushes more people away from Christ than anything I can think of. So my advice is don't always go into a converstation with the mindset of converting. It takes time and self discovery. Take it little by little, day by day.
One day I believe the Lord will show himself to your friend. From there it is up to your friend to choose to except the Lord or not. Though I have faith it will all work out. It's always good to see people take interest in their friends spiritual life; true friendship :P. I will be praying.

Try encouraging him to research more about his faith and Mormonism. Maybe invite him to study that in some type of bible study thingy between you two (or other friends or hey, even the girl too if she's open to you guys). Let the Words of the Bible vs the book of mormon do the talking.

Oh yeah prayer is probably the most important thing here. Will do.

I'll pray as well. Also, maye you should talk to both of them.

Teach your friend about the bible and try to get his gf to become a christian.

i agree, most of the time the best thing you can do is just be there for him, and let your life be an example. i'll be praying.

He's already a Christian; he has been for 1 1/2 - 2 years.
