Let us praise Him!

Postby CreatureArt » Tue Oct 26, 2004 3:16 am

Hi there. *waves*

I read the description for this forum area, and it said we were allowed to praise God in here, as well as ask for prayer. So I wondered if it would be all right if I started a thread where we can just praise God. Hope it's not too similar to the testimony section - I was thinking something along the lines of mostly praise rather than something made primarily of specific examples :) .

Here we go!

Praise God, for he is good. May his praise echo among the mountains, carry accross the seas and reverberate over the hills - that all may know he is my King.

Praise God. In all things, he has been faithful to me. When I have called on him, he has answered. Not always in the way I expect or even could of guessed - but in many ways the answers were better than what I had asked for.

Praise God - for he has kept me safe. At numerous times during my life he has called others to pray for me in moments when I was in danger. Our God is good!

Praise God. May his holy name be spread to the far reaches of creation. His fame will endure to the end of the world and beyond. All knees will bend, all heads will bow to his holiness.

Praise God. He has made such beautiful creation. Look around you - whether you are in the country, city, outside, inside, with others, alone - and see the marvels of what he has made! Look at yourself - the intricate, lovely and beautiful person he has made you. Think of the world's amazing scenery and feel the incredible awe of his power, majesty and creativeness.

Praise God. Think of all the good people in life, who love us and care for us. Think of the good times, the blessed times, the answers to prayer and encouragement that has been had - and that is being had!

Praise God, who has, against all our sinfullness and inadequacies, worked in us and who works in us, perfecting us, giving us purpose, meaning, and a hope in him. He has prepared room in heaven for us, where we will live eternally with him.

Praise God. There are not enough words in all the languages of men on earth to describe the glory and holiness of our Lord and King. I love you, God. May all that I am give glory to you.

Thank God, for Jazz, "thanks God", (its the music played in Heaven)

Thank God, for Bread and Bakeries and Buns.

Thank God, for Rain, its sweet drizzle, and thumping showers, its waves and smell.

Thank You God, most importantly for loving me, the nugget I am, we all are and doing something about it. Thank you God.

(I like this thread, good one Art)

Thank you God for spring rain that is warm and soaks you to the skin without really making you feel cold - only refreashed.

Thank you for afternoons of fun, silliness and song with friends.

Thank you for this group of people who love you and each other and who encourage each other online at CAA.

Thank you for cats who purr and dribble on you and who claw you relentlessly all to show their love, and dogs that walk up to you when you're sitting down and put their great galumpscious muzzle into you lap and stare at you imploringly until you scratch their great white ears.

Thank you for bird song. Thank you for relaxing evenings after busy days, and moments of stillness when it is easy to focus on you.

Praise God for His grace, that we so undeservingly receive

Praise God for giving me purpose in life

Praise God for patiently teaching me and making the best out of my weaknesses

Praise God for carrying me through difficult times and never letting me go

Praise God for quiet moments where we sit, reflect, relax and are refreashed and strenthened in His presence.

Praise God for our loved ones, and all the nice things they do - big and small.

Praise God for small blessings that are there when they are most needed and appreciated.

Praise God, for He is worthy, wonderful, awe-inspiring, awe-some... the words needed to describe him would fill a never-ending book.

Well, I don't really care for spiders very much either, but I'm disciplining myself to love them as God's creation. And they are pretty useful. I don't know what we'd do with all those bugs.

Praise means a bit like "hooray" yes?

so...

Praise for God because He has removed hate from me. And is slowly making me with peace.

Praise for God for putting the right people in my life at the right time. Even if it's in a odd way.

Praise for God for who He is. Beyond my imagination, and anything I can ever understand! Without Love, I might not even be talking here, right now!

I like this thread alot... it's very nice... ^-^

AMEN to all your praises!

Praise you Lord for CAA - for a network of Christians who have fun together, have a similar interest and who support each other.

I agree with RoyalWing's praise: Lord you indeed being people into our lives at the right time, in mysterious and often odd ways.

Praise you Lord - I sometimes almost accuse you of being sneaky, the way you subtlely put blessings and help in our lives without us catching it! The way you change and help us through others, anonymously - so it is often only when we look back that we see your hand in our recovery and protection.

Praise you Lord for who you are. There are not words enough in all the world to praise you - but still let me in my life try to express even a fraction of your beauty, power, majesty, holines... with my praise and thanks.

Praise you Lord for quiet, healing, reflective moments where we can just know you and be with you.
