I can't get my homework done right and my class is in an hour. I wanted to eat lunch and go to part of the anime club. I mighthardly eat anything for lunch and still not have my homework done right.
This is such a discouraging class.

You've always got my prayers sheherazade.
Teaching your body to do somthing as unnatural as writing with your fingertips, one letter at a time can be a real pain.
I will also pray for the more wide-spread use of technology like voice-receptive programs.

*grins and hugs Sher* I will pray for you!
Word of advice: Take things slowly with typing. Focus on the alphabet first and memorize where the keys are... After that start pasting together words, then speed up when you're comfortable. Practice practice practice! ^_^ (I took three keyboarding classes, twelve years of piano, and four years of flute... Maybe I shouldn't be giving out advice on the subject because typing came naturally to me. However, the practice part is the oft-most used advice I know and I know it works! *hugs again and scampers*)

What I tended to do when learning was go around all the time and type words in my mind -- you know, imagine where the keys were to spell out a certain word. Sometimes, if I was away from a keyboard and no one was around to give me funny looks, I would practice "typing" in mid-air, just getting a feel for moving my fingers around.
On a side note, I also tend to do this right after playing Tetris or Bust-a-Move or some other puzzle game. Maybe I'm just a freak.
I'll pray for you!
