...my friend's puppy, that is.

Her baby chihuahua has an infection that is rapidly spreading to her brain, and her chances for survival are looking pretty slim-to-none. All they can do for now is wait and see if the anitbiotics take any effect, but even then there's only a 10% chance they can stop the virus according to their vet.

She has the sweetest, cutest little pup and I know my friend would be heartbroken to lose her, so pray that if the puppy can't make it God will comfort her. She's been through a ridiculous amount of depressing baggage lately, and this is the last thing she needs to deal with.

I'm very sorry. I grew up with a lot of pets, so I know how hard it can be to even think of losing one. One of our bunnies got an ulcer in her eye recently, and I was distressed...She's all better now, thankfully

I'll be praying that if it be God's will that He will heal, that your friend will find comfort and peace, and that the Spirit will help you you be able to mourn with and console her.

A virus? Or a bacterial infection? If it's a virus truly, the antibiotics won't help ...

Lord Jesus, please be with Kat's friend and comfort her during her time of trial. I pray that you would give her faith and the strength she needs to make it through this time in her life.
Jesus, I ask that you put your healing hand on her puppy. This pet is a blessing to her, and may it continue to bring her joy. Do not let it suffer, for the sake of your daughter.
