Just Praise Reports? Formerly: Praise report and prayer request

I need to praise God, for He has given me a job. It's at a coffee shop, and it starts next week. I got the job through a woman who goes to my church, and it is just awesome to see God work like this.

Also, I'm no longer sick, so it seems. I seem to have recovered almost immediately, so for that I'm glad.

Also, I'm pleased to be participating in a voter registration drive at my church in the next couple weeks.

Also, I'm gonna be opening my church's coffee shop at 6 in the morning M-F (It normally opens at 8, but we're missing tons of potential customers, and ministry opportunities).

Also there are a lot of Christian clubs and organizations on my campus, so I can really get to know some wonderful Christians at my school this year.

So yeah, God is awesome, and is blessing me so much. Thanks for the prayers guys, I know God heard.

"The advice I like to give young artists, or really anybody who’ll listen to me, is not to wait around for inspiration. Inspiration is for amateurs; the rest of us just show up and get to work. If you wait around for the clouds to part and a bolt of lightning to strike you in the brain, you are not going to make an awful lot of work. All the best ideas come out of the process; they come out of the work itself. Things occur to you. If you’re sitting around trying to dream up a great art idea, you can sit there a long time before anything happens. But if you just get to work, something will occur to you and something else will occur to you and something else that you reject will push you in another direction. Inspiration is absolutely unnecessary and somehow deceptive. You feel like you need this great idea before you can get down to work, and I find that’s almost never the case." - Chuck Close[/color]

Very happy to hear it! ... oh, that stinks.

What a dichotomy, but I'll pray for them both. ^^

Working in a coffee shop sounds great. Get well soon so you can have a cup of French Vanilla capuccino at work...

Now I want some. I'll pray for you!

I'm so happy you have been blessed with employment, especially in these tumultuous times!

And I will pray for a speedy recovery. :thumb:
