Oh my... Your friend has entire warped views on Christianity... Besides, some of those "non-mixing" rules changed in the New Testiment. Furthermore, the Lord was referring to the Jews in Leviticus (if I'm not mistaken... Hence he was speaking to Moses). Oye, I love it when liberals put words into people's mouths and use half-truths.
I will pray for everyone involved in this situation.

yes and her friends are just as bad. check out what she did in
http://sonicrose.deviantart.com 's journal. We've been trying to show her the Truth for a long time, and all she cares about is winning arguments. That's why I kicked the dust off my feet and left it last night.

It is sad, but we each must make our own choices. So much sweeter it is when we choose to obey God's calling, but in order to choose Him, we must also be able to refuse Him. We are called to preach the gospel, if it is denied, then it is denied. It's a harsh truth, and don't ever give up the fight, but those who are going to refuse will refuse. I'm sorry it didn't go better for you and for her.

mm-hmm...
keep praying some more. My sister and I have named this "waring against the devil", and it is just that. Mame is a very dangerous agent of satan. I didn't believe it till she contacted me on AIM. I saw lies, omision of truth, hatred, perversion, selfeshness, lust, and disrespect in her as I talked with her, and it was all very sugarcoated. I could see through that sugarcoat from beginning to end, and I will admit that, after talking with her directly, she is nothing short than what I said above... why my sister told me. She is a very dangerous agent of Satan.
I encourage anyone with a lot of wisdom to talk to her if you feel like it, but keep what I've told you about her in mind and remember that everything said by us must be able to be backed up with Scripture.
She has also defaced my journal entry by mocking my Sister (she's not really my sister, but if you look at her you will be able to see why I call SonicRose that). More background is that Mame (aka Jessi), besides being gay, at one point wanted SonicRose as her "lifemate." Sonic Rose of course rejected that, but it was enough that she lost her boyfriend in the strife. She chose to support Jessi over her BF because 1. Jessi was very fragile and suicidal and 2. her BF was not Christian. When the BF did become a chirstian, things between SonicRose and Jessi came to fall apart, and by that time her BF felt that his relationship with our Sister could not ever be the way it was before. This is a testament to show you this piece of advice: if you do talk to her, DO NOT get too close. She will drag you down and ruin your life.
The first clue about talking to her that she was in evil was how she tried to get me me on her side. She very sneakily tried to get me to stab them in the back, call them liars, etc. . No doubt, if she told you about me, she would call me closeminded... but I am afraid that is not true. I have an interesting word-for-word quote from our conversation.
ColorblindTyeDye: Ahh well, that's for you to decide ^^; Frankly, I don't care enough about the bible thing to fight you on it ^^; You can preach it to me but I'll probably blank out and think about fluffy boys cuddling together.
Nack61386: I see... then... why do you say that we're the closeminded ones and not you if you don't listen?
Then she changed the topic to her girlfriend on DA. I chit you not, I gave her a simple yes-or-no question at one point an over an hour later she hadn't given me an answer that was any straighter than a horseshoe.
Like I said, she's in need of serious help... please pray for her.
BTW, I did confirm that she was gangraped at one point by a pair of men, and that her babysitter raped her at one point. For this reason, she is afraid of heterosexuality... dunno if that helps at all, but I felt the need to confirm it here

James 1
5If any of you lacks wisdom, he should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to him.
it is not our wisdom we must rely on its God's wisdom.
1 Corinthians 6
8Instead, you yourselves cheat and do wrong, and you do this to your brothers.
9Do you not know that the wicked will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived: Neither the sexually immoral nor idolaters nor adulterers nor male prostitutes nor homosexual offenders 10nor thieves nor the greedy nor drunkards nor slanderers nor swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
James 2
10For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles at just one point is guilty of breaking all of it. 11For he who said, "Do not commit adultery,"[2] also said, "Do not murder."[3] If you do not commit adultery but do commit murder, you have become a lawbreaker.
Rom21But now a righteousness from God, apart from law, has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. 22This righteousness from God comes through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference, 23for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, 24and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
Those under the Grace of Christ are truly no longer slaves and bound under sin
1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don't you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.
i will be praying

thank you.
OH! she says that she's an ex-Christian. She says that she was a Christian at one point because she believed that God existed. $50 to whoever thinks of the verse I'm thinking of.

That's really a shame. I think all anyone should do at this point is just pray for her and for you, frwl, if God is willing that you should continue witnessing to her in anyway you can. You already know the warning about keeping away from her to a certain extent. So, I'll pray for both of you (and your "sister," too).
