What type, specifically? The cancer type does make a very large difference.

Father, I pray You grant peace to Banna-chan and her family. Father, help them through this difficult time and Father, especially be with Banana-chan. Help her to be the daughter You want her to be and her father needs her to be.

Amen

I will add your father to my prayers.

If you need anyone to talk to, please, do not hesitate to private message me. I have some experience in this field -- emotionally, at least. *hugs*

That sounds very suspiciously like melanoma. Does that sound familiar to you?

Wow,

This hits really hard to home for me beng I lost a Grandfather (Whom was very close) to an unidentified tumor.

Whereas I myself am a Cancer survivor (Non-Hotchgins Lymphoma....not sure if thats how you spell it, can you help me out shoorajin?) whom was diagnosed at a very young age.

Anyways, if you need a personal testimony or anyone with a first had experience with cancer do PM me if you want, I am busy but for a matter as serious as this I'll personally MAKE time, so don't hesitate to do so.

Let your father know however that I will be praying for him, and that no matter what happens know that it's apart of Gods ultimate plan and that He has your best interest at heart, and that His love never ceases.

I'll also pray that God gives you strength.

God Bless,
Archan

Archan: Non-Hodgkin's lymphoma. I unfortunately just had a patient who I diagnosed with a very fast growing variant, and he was able to see the oncologist and is undergoing chemo and radiation therapy right now.

Bannana-Chan:

Glad your feeling better, be sure to give us upadtes kay?

shooraijin:

Oh no, very sorry to hear this. Tell your patient I'm praying for him. Fortunate for me, they caught mine in time and only had to go through Radiation Therepy once. The rest of my therepy was Chemo, which wasn't fun. Especially the nausea...uhhhhh..... :waah!: They alos put me into isolation, and though I could watch cable the hospital food sucked....no offence

I also sadly lost alot of good friends, a girl named Shannon, and my doctor George W Slieght whom was clamied by a car accident. Luckily, the Kaiser Department got a replacement from the local Childrens Hospital, he and I keep in touch being I'm a surivior and a good source of influence for the kids currenly diagnosed. I'm thinking of developing a sort of short graphic novel dedicated to the department, or contact them to see if I can paint a mural......there's just sooo much I want to give back.

God Bless,
Archan

Funny you mention Kaiser, since I'm a Kaiser resident. (And not just because of my last name, either.) Which hospital was this?

Bannana Chan:

Groovey to hear, *Hugs back* I'll still continue to pray however, And I hope this is the last time you have to deal with cancer as well.....Keep us updated though.

Shoorajin:

I'm sure it was the Kaiser Permanente in Hollywood, it was no more then a block or two from the Childrens Hospital in the same residence. Out of curiosity, which hospital do you work at, perhaps we might bump into each other sometime, and hopefully the reason wont shadow the events mentioned in this thread.....

God bless,
Archan
