Hi,

I have text books for this next semester that come with floppy disks and my floppy drive doesn't work. We already went through a lot trying to find the proof if purchase the computer but couldn't. It would be expensive and I start in a week on the 16th. I'm scared that this will be a problem. Please pray about this.

Sure thing, but if the drive must be replaced you can find them pretty cheap. I mean we're talking about 8 bucks or so.

If it's a 1.44 floppy drive, it's like Yojimbo said, it's only like 8 bucks. Try newegg.com if you need a replacement drive. Regardless, I'll pray.

Also, you can get an external USB floppy drive for not too much more - and you won't have to open the computer up to install it - just plug it into the back.
