He had to go to the hospital again tonight, with a severe headache and nausea.
He came home, however, he was diagnosed as having a TIA (mini-stroke). He has had these several times over the last few years, both before and after his heart attack.

I know enough about medicine to be really worried here: someone who frequently has TIAs is likely to have a major stroke, yet my father has done several things: he's on medication, he's changed his diet, but he still has these things. . .
