Prayer for Peace in the home

Postby starstoryteller » Mon May 15, 2006 8:41 pm

This week is going to be really hectic. My family is preparing for my sister’s upcoming wedding and we have a lot of performances for our dance ministry but what I need peace that passes all understanding is for my Aunt who is coming form the east coast. She is from my mother’s side and right now she is suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder from an abusive past.
My grand ma wrote a letter asking for forgiveness and we pray that there will be some reconciliation between them.
Even if you just give a quick prayer it will help and I will keep you up dated.
Thanks and God bless

"...art can teach without at all ceasing to be art."

"Love may forgive all infirmities and love still in spite of them: but Love cannot cease to will their removal."

"If I find in myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world."

Lifted one for the situations. May the peace of Christ reign in their hearts.
Theme Scripture: Stand fast therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage. (Galatians 5:1)

And a verse for all us single folks: Do we have no right to take along a believing wife, as do also the other apostles, the brothers of the Lord, and Cephas? (1 Corinthians 9:5)

 Looking for a GOOD music mix? Check out these stations:
Grey FM Heartland -- a mix of Country and Contemporary Christian music (Listen Now!)
Grey FM Downtown -- a mix of mainstream and Christian pop and rock music (Listen Now!)

More real stuff...

I'll be praying as well for her. PTSD: not a fun thing :/ And asking for forgiveness would be a REALLY hard thing to do!

I have been praying. How are things going by now?

[i]Two vast and trunk-less legs of stone stand in the desert. Near them, on the sand, half sunk, a shattered visage lies. Round the decay of that colossal wreck, boundless and bare the lone and level sands stretch far away. On the pedestal these words are inscribed:

“My name is Ozymandias, king of kings:
look on my works, ye mighty, and despair!â€

I will pray, hope it turns out for the best.
