Brother Again

Well, I have good news. Lots of it actually. ^_^ Last time I was home, before this weekend, my Mom and I went shopping for devotional books for my brother because he asked for them. I talked to him after his stint in the hospital, and he realized that he probably shouldn't have lived and he didn't know whether or not he would have been in heaven. He has really worked to get his act together, and really likes the devotional I picked out for him (Perspectives, the same one I use). However, he is really struggling with one of his roomates. The guy is straining my brothers patience and fledgling walk with God in every way. So, I am beside myself to see him doing so well, yet he needs prayer for strength to deal with this roomate.

Praise the Lord! And I will be praying for him. I know how it is to have a brother you're really worried about.

Good to hear that things are improving for him in some ways. I'll be praying for him. :thumb:

Grr, it's so frustrating when you're trying to help someone grow and there are things like irritating roommates getting in the way. I'll pray that God will draw your brother close to Him, despite the lame-o roomate situation. :thumb:

Yeeeaaaaahhhhhh!!!!! Thank you, Jesus! :dance: :dance: :dance: My brother got saved!!! He got saved on Sunday! YES!!! I did not know for sure! But he is now! He decided to quit following God half way and give his life over to Christ for real!!! He called my parents and told them, and called my hometown pastor to arrange to be baptized! He just now called me! Oh, wow! But, he still has no Christian friends. The one he did have has left for seminary. I told him to call me whenever he needed to, and he said he would because I'm his only Christian contact around his age. I am SO happy though. Thank you all for praying. I'm gonna cry. I have been planning on getting rebaptized because I wasn't a Christian the first time. We might be baptized at the same time, or I might miss his baptism to go with a mission team to Mississippi, don't know yet. Pray for us! :dance: :dance: :dance:
