gall bladder problems?

Postby Gala » Sat Dec 03, 2005 2:47 pm

i went to the doctor b/c my side was really hurting and i couldn't eat without getting nautious. my doctor ordered a ultra sound to check my gall bladder and a few other organs, but the most concern lies with the gall bladder. the one thing that worries us is that it's happening to me at 16.
please pray that whatever it is isn't too serious and that it will heal.

thanks

Ouch. Gall bladder problems are terrible. This summer I had mine removed. And they said i was young to have gall bladder problems at 27. 16 is really young for it. If you need surgury the surgury isn't bad. Though it takes a while to recover. I'll pray for you.

You have my prayers, I hope everything tuns out well. I can relate (Sort off) because I'm as sick as a dog right now, runny nose, teary eyes, coughing up flem, pounding headache (You know, the type that feels like you have daggers piercing the back of your eye balls), stiff back....very unpleasent stuff, and it's the Christmas month so thats not groovey. Anyways I wanted to let you know that your not the only one feeling ill, and I'll pray that your situation is nothing serious, at the worse some bad meatloaf or somethin' :)

God bless,
Archan

P.S. Keep us posted

thanks for ur prayers guys,
my doctor told me that i have sludge in my gall bladder and that he wants to run 1 more test (i think it is called a Hydro scan).
i have an addition to my prayer request: my doc put me on a non fat diet and i have lost 4 pounds in 3 days. i know this is not a good thing, but if i get off this diet ill have major problems and will have to have my gall bladder removed, so we're hoping that i will stop losing weight. please pray for this.
thanks guys for the prayers.

Hum
well I hope this last test you need clears things up, and I hope you get rid of the...sludge?
As far as the weight thing, what kind of diet is it? Talk to the doctor, see if there is something in the diet that I don't know, could help keep some weight on your or something. Like substituting your normal intake of one food item in your normal diet with more amounts of a food item in your new diet.....just a thought. What do you think Shooraijin?
Anyways, I'll keep praying.
God bless,
Archan

yea... i think it is HIDA scan. as far as the diet thing goes, my doctor put me on a nonfat diet to prevent any more problems (he has now added some chicken to the diet). we got the results back from the scan and all came out OK so far. my doctor said he may want to do more tests.
thanks for ya'lls prayers.

Yeow, as if the pain wasn't bad enough, it's making you feel sick to your stomach too? Hang in there. I'll pray for you.
