My Ex-girlfriend has 2 kids, is pregnant with another one, and is homeless and separated from her husband right now... That is a really bad situation. She doesn't have a job, and she has no one to take care of the kids right now either.
I feel rather like I'm watching a movie or reading a book as all these horrible things happen all around me and I don't know how to respond. Of course, with the relationship things of my own, I have my own drama to deal with, but it disturbs me that I can't really do anything but pray in this situation...

Oh, how sad...I will really pray for her and her kids. Does she at least have family or friends to take her in temporarily? Keep us posted. 
And Bob, I know how you feel about the relationship thing. I'm going through something similar right now, and I feel like it may be interfering with other things I should be praying for. It happens to a lot of singles in the church, and you are by no means alone. It's natural to feel that way...when you're at a certain age the desire to find a mate is simply biological. I know it hurts to feel you may have to give up a certain special someone, or hold off on trying to look for them -- but God knows what will make us truly happy in the end. I'll pray that Satan does not use your vulnerability as an advantage to hurt you any further. *hugs*

She emailed me back and said she may be able to go with some family in Alaska, but she said she didn't have time to go into details... I wonder if she has the money to get her and her two kids to Alaska... Well, she said they were going to move to London, which is where her husband is stationed (Navy, I think.) but that's not until february... I dont' know what she's doing if they're split up... Maybe she's gonna get back together with him...
This whole thing confuses me, and nothing about it sounds right... If her husband is in the Navy, he should be getting around 12-1500 a month, and if he lives on a base or a boat, he should be getting free room an board, so that money should be going to his kids... I just don't get this at all... So many things happening that shouldn't be happening...
