Can you all please pray for me?
I have had a hard time so far this semester and after having a rough summer. God has shown me so much and has been so good to me, but the devil keeps trying to find ways to bring me down. Its either work, school, finances or lacrosse, and I just gotta keep remembering to give it up to God, but its so hard somteimes cause I like to stress about everything.
I have been runnning on little sleep lateley especially after being sick and I just need prayer that I will have energy to do the things I need to. It is also my last year of college and so I feel like I am so close but not....
Anyway, thanks for praying!

I know the feeling. I'll be praying for you. :thumb:

And senioritis could be a factor... ;) But maybe that can wait until the spring semester. That's the best time for it to kick in.

Of course I'll pray for you, Twinsey! I'm sorry so much has been going wrong lately. *Huggles Twinsey*
Every year in Uganda, innumerable children simply. . . disappear. These children all stolen under the cover of darkness from their homes and impressed into the guerilla armies of the LRA [Lord's Resistance Army]. In the deserts of Uganda, they are forced to witness the mindless slaughter of other children until they themselves can do nothing but kill. Kill. These children, generally ranging from ages 5-12, are brainwashed into murdering in the name of the resistance and into stealing other children from their beds to suffer the same fate.

Because of this genocide of innocence, hundred and hundreds of children live every night sleeping in public places miles from their homes, because they know that if the do not-- they will disappear. They will become just another number in this genocide to which the international community has chosen to turn a blind eye. They will become, in affect, invisible-- Invisible Children.

But there are those who are trying to fight against this slaughter of Uganda's children. They fight to protect these "invisible children." Please, help them help a country full of children who know nothing by fear. Help save the innocence. For more information concerning how you can help and how you can get an incredible video about this horrific reality, visit the Invisible Children home page.

Yeah, I'll pray for ya KT. I know what senior stress is like. I'm there now, and getting killed, so yeah, suffice it to say that you aren't alone. I'll be praying for you.

OK,

May you get the rest you need,
And the understanding of others,
And the support to do God's will.

I'm not so sure about lacrosse. Aren't you supposed to bash people in that? I'm not sure I should pray for successful bashing.

i kinda know what ur goin through, i was constantly on crutches last year and it hindered many things. ill pray for God to give you strength to get through your schooling.
Always find time in your day to rejoice for something the Lord has done for you... even if it is just the miracle of getting up every morning.

Well some interesting things happened this weekend....
I did get to go to bed yesterday at 8 so I got pretty much caught up on sleep, which is a praise...
Saturday though at our first game of the tournament, I sprained my ankle really bad that I had surgery on in March. I spent 5 hours in the emergency room and now I'm back on crutches and can't play this fall! Its really hard for me cause its my senior year (athletes you know what I'm talking about) and everyone is saying I may not be able to play again, just cause of the side to side motion of lacrosse. Also this is a blessing in disguise cause I have been praying to find God's will and what he wants me to put my energies into this year. So pray that I can deal with not playing and rehabing my ankle, as well as finding what God wants me to do now.

Oh, that's horrible! I hope that the rehabilitation works ... but you know as well as I do that it's really hit and miss sometimes with PT regimens. :(

If you aren't able to play, though, will this mess up your job prospects for next year?

It won't mess up any job prospects, but it will only affect me playing my senior year. We'll see what happens, I'm gonna be strict rehabbing it ^^
Thanks for all you guys prayers ^^
