friend is hospitalized

Postby steelbeliever » Sun Sep 18, 2005 7:57 pm

alright...in an earlier post i said a friend of mine was being made fun of because he was in a wheelchair...well, he has been hospitalized...someone at his high school hit him with a car while he was crossing the street...it wasn't an accidnet because anyone would have seen him in broad daylight...the guy who hit him was one of the guys who had been making fun of him...prayers would be appreciated...he now has lost the ability to use his arms...i hear from him but not too often...he can't speak right now...so please pray...

!!!!!!! That is so terrible! I'll be praying for him and his family

it wasn't an accidnet because anyone would have seen him in broad daylight...the guy who hit him was one of the guys who had been making fun of him...

Thinking about this, I find it highly unlikely it was on purpose. Firstly, wheelchairs are not very tall, and hence it would be more difficult to see from a car than walking pedestrians. This is one reason why children get run over easily.

Also, by running into someone, the guy will either have to pay out alot of money and maybe lose his license... at the very least his insurance premiums will go up. From a logical perspective, it makes no sense for this guy who is still in highschool (and hence I imagine wouldn't have much money to throw around) to willing be in a collision.
