Need prayer...deep trouble

Postby snow_Rock » Wed Aug 10, 2005 4:21 am

I'm having a hard time in college. Many of my scores are F's which is fail. i'm really close to the point when you think it's ok to die. my parents are expecting a lot from me, but i'm not smart enough to push myself to a passing score. Although i do trust God, I still need some prayers.
Need help so much

Will do. God has plans for you, regardless of what your scores say. And I'm sure your parents just want whats best for you. I've found myself struggling in school in recent times as well. But don't give up! It will get better. And it's never okay to die until God says so. I will pray for you. Stay strong!

I am in the same situation, being that my parents expect something that I don't feel like I can handle at the moment. So, finally I sat down and talked with them. Maybe you should try that too. Let them know that you are not happy and that you need a break. And, maybe they can get you some help with your school work or if you are in college, let you take some time off.

You have my prayers,
Don't feel so pressured by scores though, the thing about God is He always has a perfect plan for you, regardless of academics, in fact some of the strongest warriors for Christ were some of the worst people, so if He can make a murderer a missionary, a cursing sailor into an apostle, or a shepherd into a King, I'm sure He'll do something grand with you, regardless of the F's bro. Just trust in God, and lay your burdens with Him.

Don't let your academic life overshadow your spiritual walk, your soul and slavation is wwwwaaaaayyyyyyyy more important then some piece of paper. I'll continue to pray for you, but rest assured things will be groovey regardless of grades. Just concentrate on your spiritual walk, thats what's most important for now. you continue to have my prayers,
God Bless,
Archan

Hi Snow_rock,

I wish you all the best in your studies and will pray for you.

When the situation gets tough it's hard to continue the walk. But please do continue to have faith, the sun will shine again.

I failed four different subjects in a row whilst at university. In my mind, there was really nothing I could look forward to each day. That was five years ago.

Today, I have a full-time job in my field of study. Things can change. Life can go on. Please stay strong, we'll be praying for you brother. :)
