Plz pray.

Plz pray for my dad to come to church and have a closer walk with God. I know that prayer can move mountains, and it's much appreciated.

thanx,

I'll pray for him. And for you, that you won't be discouraged and that God will show you what to do.

I'm not saying that it's the same for you, but what I noticed is that at one time I got so caught up in how my dad was imperfect that my pride swelled up until I started treating him badly when he was trying to help me. :( Finally when the conflict boiled over and my parents sat down and talked to me about how disrespectful and mean I had been I realized that I had started to think that I was more righteous and smarter than my parents! T_T What I learned from that experience is that his spiritual life is not my business, it is something between him and God that only his Heavenly Father can change.

What I CAN do is make sure that I am kind, encouraging and respectful to him, and pray that God would strengthen him and make him the way that He wants my dad to be, not the way I want him to be. :) I will pray the same thing over your dad!

I know how discouraging it can be when the head of your family won't support you by coming to church, but hang tight! God is working in your dad's heart already, even though you may not be able to see it. In the meantime, keep praying for him! It's a great blessing to pray over your family. =)

Thank you for the encouragement and advice. I shall certainly remeber that when I'm around my dad. Thank you for your prayers also! ^_^
