teachers

there are two teachers i need prayer for:

one of the young teachers in my college went into the hospital on friday to have her baby, but it never made it. i think it was born dead, and this was to be her first child. she conducted choir for the whole three months we had it, and we were all so excited for her. now i don't know what she's going to be doing, but i'm pretty sure she isn't a Christian. so prayer for her.

the other teacher is my dad. he has been struggling with depression for the past several years, and i only found out about it last year. he's on some medication that doesn't help him at all, it only dopes him up turning him into the calm, collected, awesome teacher he appears to be. whenever he's with people, or someone comes over -it's like this with my mom too- the masks go on, and they try to make people believe everything is okay in our lives. but it's not, it's just really annoying. i hope to move out this year. if you pray, please pray that mom would have the guts to talk to someone who can help with dad's issue, and that dad hangs on.
thanx

oh Dot. i'll certainly be praying for your teacher. i can't imagine what that would be like. i pray that God will have His way in all of this.
have you seen her yet? is there anything that you could do for her? to reach out to her?

as you already know, i'm praying for you and your whole family Dot. i don't know what to say. but it can't last forever. i know you're tired of hearing this, but keep trusting Him, and never forget, that you are not alone in this.

I'll pray for both your teachers.

Sorry to hear that your choir teacher had that happen, must be pretty sad. I can only imagine.

I'll also pray for you dad, hopefully he'll find a way to get over his depression.

I'll keep both of them in my prayers.

I have family members that suffer from depression too, and it's not good. I'll pray for your dad as well as your choir teacher. Keep us posted.

That's such a shame about the choir teacher's child. I'll pray for her, as well as for your parents and you regarding your father's depression.

thanx... the choir got a card for her and, and well, things just don't seem to be getting any better with dad. the funeral went well, i guess, and angela knows that she has support here. *shrug God's ways are not our own!
