concerning Christmas break...

Postby soul alive » Wed Dec 15, 2004 8:38 pm

i shall be heading for home around 9:30 am tomorrow morning. any prayers for a safe trip would be much appreciated. i have an 8+ hour trip ahead of me, and i will not have any traveling companions other than my CDs and my cell phone. i will try to get on before 8:45 am to check email and CAA thread updates. and in general, prayers for anyone else driving/flying/going home for break; i will be praying for those of you who are.

also, prayers that my Christmas break is good would also be appreciated. my mom tends to be emotionally abusive (that story is here: http://www.christiananime.net/showthread.php?t=14969 ) and i would really prefer to spend time with my family, and not have to go stay with a friend.

and third, my little sister has read the first of the Left Behind books, and asked me to bring those that i have home for her to read as well. i am really hoping that this will soften her heart, and give me an opportunity to really share the gospel with her. please pray that she may find the need to talk with me about what goes on in the books. also, if anyone has any witnessing tips concerning those books, they would also be much appreciated.

thanks.

I will pray. I've done quite a bit of traveling long distances by myself w/ only my cds to keep me company. So I pray you arrive at home safely. Second, I hope your Christmas break will be a joyful one. I really want you to be able to look back on it and really appreicate the good in your life. So I pray you enjoy it. And Thirdly, I hope your books will inspire your sister to open up more to the Lord. That would make christmas that much more special. Now go, Enjoy your christmas break! :P

Instead of opening my own thread, I'll tack on here (forgive me if this is an unwelcome inrusion, soul alive - I don't mean to be stealing your thunder). A lot of people will be traveling in the next few weeks, many of them our loved ones. For me, my brother will be coming to oHIo from Virginia.

Please keep in your prayers as well.
