My prayer requests.

Postby Jeikobu » Sun Nov 07, 2004 8:37 pm

I have a few important prayer requests.

-A good friend of mine has a good friend who is a homosexual, but thinks she can just ask God's forgiveness and keep being gay (yes there are Scriptures about homosexuality as well as sinning when you know something's wrong/taking advantage of God's gift of salvation, but though my friend plans to talk to her about it again very soon, he's is worried that she will choose homosexuality over Christianity).
-On the same note, I know a person online who is gay, but doesn't want to be a believer since he doesn't want to give up his homosexuality. He has also been very abused in the past for being gay. He needs God's love to be real in his life.
-I have a good friend online who used to be Christian, but gave up on God not long ago since he is being deceived by evolution, and he can't see why so many bad things would happen in the world if there is really an Almighty God.
-I also know a guy online who is gay, and is a Wiccan. He is the farthest from God out all of the people I have mentioned. He really needs alot of prayer.
-And finally, please pray for Nippon (Japan). Only 1% of the nation is Christian, a fact that greatly saddens me. They are in great need of the Gospel. I hope God will use me to minister to them. But either way, the nation needs alot of prayer. Please pray for their safety, and over all, their spiritual salvation.

Sorry for the number of requests, but there's always alot to pray about. ^^;
Thanks!

wow that is a lot. What strikes me as odd is how many believe that people are born gay and in return choose to reject God. Now I don't mean to start a controversy or arguments, but I just don't buy that. I mean, everyone has their own demons they must face whether it's pornography, drugs, alcohol, depression etc. I believe it's what you feed into your mind and what you buy into. THey are all strong and addicting in their own sense. But of course God loves everyone, we are all sinners with our own faults. What we need to do is pray and have faith that God will work for the good.

Now back to the topic at hand:
I'm sorry sorry to hear that your friends are going through all of this. But rest a sure, God will do what is right. I'll be sure to pray for everyone of them. It's hard to see your friends practice things that are totally against the Christian belief. But have faith. God rewards thoughs who seek him. But show compassion and love for them; for that is what God would want us to do:
".....Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself (Matthew 22:39) "

Again, sorry to hear about at. I really hope for the best for all of your friends. I will pray that everything works out.
