Postby Hitokiri » Sat Jun 12, 2004 7:44 pm

Our former pastor, an Interum pastor for bout a year until we found a Senior Pastor recently had a stroke and its looking quite bad.

He was in intensive care for a week and he is paralyzed on th eleft side of th ebody. Keep him in your prayers cause he is very much loved in the church body as well as the community.

Sadly, strokes and heart attacks are the two main causes of disability and death among pastors because of many of the pressures and stresses from the position. I will certainly pray for my brother pastor to the Great Physician of his life.

So will I. A large right middle cerebral artery stroke like that can have many long-lasting effects that may never resolve completely. How is his mental status? Can he still talk and communicate?

at this point of time, I dont think he can communicate and his left side of his body is paralyzed. That's allw eknow but he is doing better.

No tonly was he our interim pastor but he pastored many other churches, has wrote several books, and oen of the leading religious expers I guess you can say in the area.

we need some serious prayer....it does not look good at all!

He is currently in a coma and getting worse day by day. Also if he does survivve this, he wont be able tot alk and walk possibly. Please keep him and his entire (they have a large fmaily) in your rpayers. They are quite elderly (he's like 70's) so it's hard on his wife.

it's also hard on the congrgation and the community. We forget easily that God is in control. Please pray for him and if it's God's will to have him go home, please pray for healing for his family, the congregation, the communtiy, and me as well cause he was a very special person to me.
