Spiritual Attacks

Hey guys,

I know you haven't seen me around for a bit. I'm asking for prayer on my and my husbands behalf. We are being attacked heavily. My own nightmares of demons have worsened and while by the grace of God alone I have rebuked them (even in nightmares) it is hard and frightening.

Matt has heard things moving around our house (and not the usual creaks of the house and it isn't any critters either). We actually were vacumning our rug in the room and all of a sudden, right when I left the room, Matt felt something "push" on the vaccuumn. He called me in there and I tried it. I felt the same thing. It wasn't bumps in the rug (there were none). I felt that this too was a strong spiritual attack. (Why they would stop a vaccuumn I posed this question to my husband. He said that perhaps they are trying to draw energy. I found this accurate (Angels have the Lord's strength and light to do what they do, demons do not. Perhaps they use energy of appliances and such to manifest themselves...also energy from fear etc). I digress.

Anyways, so I prayed with Matt right there, that the demons would be rebuked. After we prayed, the "resistance" was gone!!!

Please pray that God will strengthen us and that we will be used for his purpose.

I will be praying that God gives you and your husband strength. I understand how frightening it can be cuse I deal with the whole nightmare thing too.

Satan often uses my loved ones in these nightmares. Demons posing as them, showing them cutting, bleeding and dying or trying to kill me. I know God will strengthen me but I don't think Satan is liking the fact that Matt and I are growing in the Lord.

Yeah, I've recently grown stronger in the Lord this past year and He has revealed His plan for my life and stuff. I believe Satan is trying to scare me out of going through with that plan. haha, but it's not working...It makes me even more excited to follow God though when I know it's going to be something greater than I am, especially if its got Satan's attention.
