Mom and surgery

Postby Ingemar » Wed Aug 22, 2007 7:53 pm

Mom will soon have a pre-surgical consultation for an umbilical hernia that has been troubling her since November. I'll be taking off for a week to accompany her since generally her health the past few years has not been good.

Pray for health and all that, and that she has many years ahead of her. She insists that she will not die until she sees her first grandchild.

I will be praying. Let us know how things go.

Do you know when the surgery will be?
When I feel blue, I start breathing again.

She will be okay for it is written, "The Lord sent his Word and healed me and delivered me from all destruction. I serve the Lord and He blesses my food and drink; and He takes away sickness from me and my family; He heals all our diseases. Psalms 103:3 :thumb:

UPDATE:

She had surgery today. It went well, I assume, because they said the surgery went fine. She will stay in the hospital over night, though. so far no one has called me (I made a point of leaving all my possible contact numbers) for anything serious.

Thank you for all the prayer and support.
